Ahh..yes, the "rainbow road". That one will put quite the dent in your pocket. Considering Spider Webs are anywhere from 6-7k each it is going to cost you a mere 12-14k per synth of rainbow thread! You will not fail too often during that stage, but the sheer amount of webs you will go through is insane. Skillups are quite slow during then too. Hell, they are slow everything post 50.

Lol i just realized Duncanrun posted here and i even wished him luck on making an Aristocrat's coat....oh well, good luck still, but you're a deusche for jacking the price up on silks big time.
Ask Direwolf what his first impression of people who buy that much and drive the prices up on materials like that, throwing gil around blindly like that to powerlevel a craft....

If he jacked up the price, why not farm crawlers? Seriously people. Every other thread on any FFXI forum is "How do u make gilz fast??" This is how you make gil fast. In the time people have spent complaining about silk costing 20k a stack, they could have made 20k. Go out. Kill some crawlers. Make your easy gil. Then wait. FFXI isn't shutting down tomorrow. Save your gil. Eventually prices will drop when everyone finally takes advantage of this new cash cow. Then walk the silk road with ease with all the money you made. Patience will make you a fortune in FFXI. It's certainly helping me. I make all my gil lately by buying low and selling high. You can too.
Lol Vang. I'm good friends with Dire IRL and I've already complained to him about this. He was pretty pissed, but since he's past this stage he's not as upset as I am. Although I'm sure he'll gladly come on here and share his views. :twisted:
