I think Mirewen explained my point of veiw on this. Yes, she has free will, and thats cool that she wants to excersize that. My problem is that when she says something like 'I dont want to party with him', people will most likely take that as something negative towards me. No matter at this point, I know who to avoid when leveling.

I dont think you'll have a problem avoiding her while leveling, as the inverse also seems true, duh.

I believe SE, made it obviously clear that it wasn't anything against Sire's ability as a player, just a difference b/t her friend and Sire, so she did not feel comfortable partying. Quite frankly, if you had never posted this...maybe 5 players would have known about it. I have yet to see why this isn't just whining.

Thats your opinion lil taru.

I know you are but what am I.

this flame fails at content. I was hoping the first flame on Silvereyes would be something for me to giggle about with her on AIM, but this one is just dumb..

Sire, you shouldn't harrass people just because they won't party with you. I've turned down party invites from people because certain players were in the party before, just suck it up. Not everyone is going to like you.

He wasn't really harassing that person. :/

um i didnt harass anyone. I was very civil with her. I just asked her why she had a issue with me, then asked who her friend was that apparently has a problem with me. Didnt know that constituted harassment.

asking the identity of the friend seems like a step towards the resolution of whatever conflict the OP had with the friend in the first place, to me >_>

If someone didnt want to party with him, give him a reason. It may have been just a misunderstanding or something said offhand which bothered the other person, and he would have apologized had he known. If the friend would rather the conflict was never adressed that is their own choice of course but I can't fault Sire for wanting to resolve it. While loyal, S-E's secrecy may be simply hurting the relationship between the friend and the OP by never allowing it to be known to him, and never resolved.

Course he could have done something intentionally to piss the friend off, I have no idea, but why would Sire want to seek an end to conflict if that was so? And if its something like "He didn't have his utsusemi scroll at lvl 13 in the dunes 6 months ago whatanoob!" well maybe chill and see if its changed. If its "He stalked me/stole items and made me miserable for months" well that's different.

Well my friend's little sister's friend said that you have cooties. And even tho I don't know my friend's sister or her friend it has to be true or my friend would've never said it. And I bet you caught it while on the internet.

a buddy of mine got E-Herpes...

regardless, the whole ordeal seems really "he-said she-said", Jr. High type bull shit.
SE needs to make a server where only people with an IQ above 20 can play, so we can leave all the moronic people to wallow together in their own idiocy.

<Perigrine> But i'd hate to be alone.

Just read his "flame me" post again, couldnt resist.

Ok, I guess I have to repeat what I've already said.

My not wanting to party with Sire has NOTHING to do with his playstyle. This was due to a dispute that had nothing to do with how Sire plays his job(s).

Let me also explain further that this was between Sire and my best friend in real life, so it wasn't like it was he said she said because I watched a lot of the fighting. There's a difference between loyalty to internet friends and real life friends.

I hope this explains why I didn't want to party with Sire.

I remember one time I partied with someone on my blacklist. I kept thinking to myself "Wow, our Ninja is so quiet. :)" Then I realized he was on my blacklist, and I then realized why I put him there in the first place.

Whatever, exp is exp to me.

I hate fubio and stay away from him as much as possible but when it comes down to Xpin I know he knows his job and Hes a damn good RDM so when I was asked if it was ok to invite him I said to myself Xp is xp and in this case it was about 5.5K/hr for 2.5hrs. Fubio good Rdm everything else is left to interpritation.

In all fairness (well fairness in my opinion), I don't think Silvereyes did anything wrong in refusing to party with Sire.

Party invites get refused all the time for lesser reasons, perhaps Silvereyes just did not want to get the best friend mad. Everyone has their own priorities. They just lie in different places.

If my friend got mad at me for partying with someone she didn't like, I would reconsider my friendship with him/her. It's not worth it to lose a friendship over something stupid like that.

I PT'd with Wolfskymoon and even said he was a decent guy, but Phraust still hangs out with me. And hell, WSM has called him a fag, botter, and countless other things.

I agree with Bluefrost on this. If my friends got mad at me for PTing with people they didn't like, I would have to seriously reconsider. That doesn't apply to PTing with RMT though, of course.

Maybe it's just me, but I know my friends wouldn't flip out if I PT'd with someone they didn't like. It sorta relates to how people don't quit their jobs because their friends don't like their co-workers. I think of PTing as a business relationship. Everyone acts courdial with one another, then at the end of the day you go have fun with your friends.

Don't take it too personally Sire. I was invited to a pt (by Fluffers - someone who I pt'd with as his Dragoon on my BlackMage a hell of a long time ago in the tree) and shortly received a tell saying nevermind and that the leader had me blacklisted. After finding out who the leader was (Kaete) I still didn't know why I would have been blacklisted. Until just recently when I realized it was because I'm friends with someone she doesn't like. lol, to be blacklisted because I'm friends with someone she had a row with... that's just plain immature. Especially since I've never talked to her.

Moral of the story? Some people suck.

Damn, you know what the real moral of this story is? Mirewen had issues with me and was blisted since 2003 for randomly slapping me when Rimashuma died in a party. Realizing the maturity level she had, I decided simply to blist and be done with it.

Fluffers, an officer and member of my LS and guild since, oh, 2000, spanning across 2 games.. I'm sure is going to realize that unless everyone in a pt can communicate proficiently, there really wouldnt be much point to invite. To think that you still hold a grudge against that is funny, and goes back to my original point of why I blisted you in the first place.

Oh, yeah, and maybe also because you have quite a history with a lot of my other friends.. but again, who holds grudges or cares when I can just simply blacklist you and be done with it...

So I ask you guys, seriously, what is /blacklist for? Decoration? Or to just simply play the game that you PAY FOR on a month to month basis without having to deal with drama and BS from people who hold grudges. If I wanted the kinda drama associated with Mirewen, I'd go sit in front of the TV and flick on TNT.

Cry a river, build a fucking bridge, and get the fuck over it?

Now, back to more important things, like not giving a rats ass about what people assume without even knowing about me. I post like once a month here, so dont think I'll be reading what your reply is...
