This may be a little late, but since I was perusing the FB while crafting...
As much as I'd like to flame Jamal for something that he said to me recently, I will not, because he had a point, as have all of his, as many of you would call them, "rants". I don't always see eye-to-eye with Jamal in the way he says things, as I've pointed out in the past, but he is in fact a very well-versed player and has a lot to offer. I know the feeling he often exhibits, the frustration of trying to by a mentor, a leader, a friend, and people taking in vain what he has to say.
I believe that, like every single person on the face of this planet, he has good and bad characteristics, and it is how you yourself deal with those characteristics that determines the outcome. If you are like Raes and stay out of it, looking at both sides and not taking a stand one way or another, you won't have any issues. Now sure, when it comes to personal, pointedly-directed attacks, that is a different story, but if one person on this board tries to say that never once have they, either here or in-game, said something to someone about one specific person, I will have no problem calling you a bold-faced liar. The fact of the matter is, so many people are holding grudges about, oh wait, A GAME, that it is indeed saddening. I respect Jamal as a player, and were we to meet irl, I'd hope to be able to say the same about him as a person.
The point of this post is to show that no one is perfect, regardless of who/what you are. There are much bigger issues to deal with than pointing out others imperfections; these are much often better left unsaid.
Just my two cents anyway...
