(To let ya'll know, when I upload new artwork I'll post it in this thread rather than starting a new one.)

I drew this earlier this morning from memory, so please no yells that it's off. I'm working on a kind of complicated picture of my girlfriend's character, who's a Dragoon. So as practice I decided to sketch this and get a feel for the armor. I might do a few more before submitting the final version.

Thats really cool. I like the way the armor and color looks. Nicely done.
 
You've got talent, the sketches are really well done and i'm sure once you put in the detail and get the lineart done, it'll look even better. I'm really liking your second pic, the expression is very well done with the eyes angled correctly.

You're drawing of that seems like a more modern version of the original ff art that was in the Final Fantasy Origins Disc for playstation(FF1 and FF2)

in other words not bad;)

You mean Amano Yoshitaka-sensei? Really? XD Thanks! Very kind words, since he's one of my favorite artists. Though I have my own unique style it's warming to think that it's as good as someone famous.
 
Huzzah! New artwork!!

This was the original I was talking about in my first post. I sketched over it some of the lines for the armor and on my next day off I'm going to digitally ink it and color it.

I just sketched a new picture tonight. Not much, not even FF related! But hey, it's something to hold over until after Christmas... Which... Well... Is when I'll have time to draw again.

An avatar? I could do a quick digital sketchy thing. What's your character look like, or do you want one like the sig (i.e. w/ helmet)?
 
Really good sketch work, again you have a lot of sharpness when you do the face and it really looks like the pro stuff. I think the details in the clothing is great, and i'm impressed with the pose like with your other sketches you have.
 
Thanks a bunch, Zerayla. ^_^ I've always practiced the faces of my characters, especially since 9/10 times people will look at the face first, then usually the breasts second. >_>;
I just wish I had more time than an hour for a quick sketch or two at any given time. Thats when I get really detailed. (I should post some of my Boba Fett pictures. Whew. They're nuts.)
 
damn that there drg girl is sexy /drool ^^ bitchen artwork im working on a scetch on my char (with some cooler armor <,<) atm and it is really really frustrating
 
Haha. Usually cooler armor means more detailed. More detailed is more frustrating. Best to sketch it as an idea on a seperate piece of paper then work on a final elsewhere. I have several books filled to the brim with frustrating, yet 'cool' ideas. ^_^ IT also helps for later when you're stuck for inspiration.
