Skill Up question

I was wondering about where to Skill Up for my GS...it's currently 155 and I need to lv it badly for my main, i use Scythe and it's maxed at 209 i think for DRK61 I badly need to Skill it up...anyone know where to go for the lv's i Need and plz help me with where to go until i can get 200+ skill plz plz plz plz plz

Coffer key mobs usually give pretty good skill until you get to about 200. If your LS is doing any coffer key hunts, go along and beat things to death with your sword. Also, if you see someone /shouting for help with a coffer key in Jeuno, offer to help them.

But would the mobs be too high to give me any skill ups? I was in a coffer pt the other night in like 20 fights i got about .3 total skill up...I hardly missed either with all my Acc+ and Food for Acc...is Kuftal goin to give me enough skill up and let me actually hit the damned thing?

I did scary suicide attempts in the early 50's and skilled mine up off the beetles in western altepa, right at the zone, so if things got hairy i could bail . Then finished it up in parties after capping scythe. For you though, should be no problem since your 61. Or like Tyrath suggested, you skill up in kuftal, though I suggest you bring some buddies if you're going there.

Added: You could also fight the Anticans in Altepa, they may give you a decent skillup too. I don't think they should be too hard for you either. I skilled up a little off them, but only when I had a whm friend helping, since I was in the lower 50's at the time, those things were EM-VT at the time.

150+ skillups are just slow. Believe me, just be glad you're not trying to skillup as a mage.

Oh.. and im only like less than 3k into 58 too. Ofcourse, ive lost about 2k from dying once with no raise II or III. Haven't exped.. in so long.. *continues saving for hauby* 922k and growing.

keys to good skillups are having a brd and haste.

Still done easily without those jobs however lvl'ing 2h weaps is just a giant pain in the ass. I need to lvl staff at some point for retribution but considering my dmg as brd is squat Im in no big rush =P

You could do help people get their Papyrus for G1... Liches should give you skillups until about 175. Then you can switch to Fallen Knights (think those drop coffer keys, right?), which should take you to about 190. After that, you'd probably need the coffer key dropping mobs from Beadeaux/Castle Oztroja/Davoi.

It took me like 3 days to cap my Summoning Magic for lvl 20! Now I have to cap my Dark Magic, Enfeebling Magic, AND Enhancing Magic. I am so far behind in the game its not even funny...

I gave up with that eventually. So much better things to do with your time. I don't particulary notice any difference capped or uncapped vs monster, and all the useful BPs are buffs anyway. And meleeing with the avatar is... stupid...

Actually, G1 mobs probably stop at about 150. They're usually T at 50, and while it's possible to get past 150 on them, it'll be very slow.
