If you want me to start making personal insults I could. This thread is just ironic and well it shouldn't have been made. So what he bought 9 amemet mantles and 5 Shinsoku. Sorry that I view this guy as scum because well he is scum. If he was bitching about the 200k price jump in the three items I listed then I wouldn't have derailed it because then it would have be legitment bitching, but I'm thinking there is a secret reason behind him posting this. I'm thinking he's just mad that they didn't accept him into his group.

Uh, yeah. Buying commonly sold items in hopes it'll raise the price by means of false inflation is pretty stupid. The price will go right back to where it was, especially when price jacks start and people flock to sell, the last dog on the leash undercuts the rest, and then it just trickles downhill. RMT dude posting or not, this is pointless and a second o thought shouldn't be put into it further.

There is some funny shit going on now that people can switch servers with their shit.

One would think, that at $25 change fee, that it would cost prohibitive to make a selling items for higher profit on other servers? But you can migrate 16 freaking characters for $25.

SE is fucking up!! It should be $50 / $100 per character transfer.

You see characters like Aaddcc who dump items for gil at WAYY under market cost, but never buy anything. Sounds like a gilseller to me.

Then you have Wyle who bought two Haubys at 400k.

If the person takes the Haubys to Bismarck and sells at 535-600k (current price) they'll net roughly 135-200k for those items alone.

The bottom line is that Quetzlcoatl is getting farmed for gil and high priced items are migrating to other servers.

Server consolidation coming soon? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
 
Hey guys, let's bitch about the person who posted the topic rather than discuss what the topic's about. That'd be really awesome. This reminds me of times when people like Peregrine would make a valid point about something and no one noticed due to the 30 people who felt the need to flame Peregrine immediately afterwards.
 
I wouldn't bet on it being a primary issue for SE to look at. More than likely that was extensively thought out when they began planning to offer the service. If you plan to move servers just to make a buck, you're an idiot. However, if you were previously planning to move servers, and decide to make a quick buck when you do... well, that's just smart.
