All he's saying is there's other things to do besides meriting, and SMN burning just maximizes your time/merit. He realizes the importance of merits, he just choses the smarter way to get them, and in turn it saves him time for other things he may enjoy more.

I love meriting, it's one of the only times I get to melee consistantly without interruption, and being DD is one of my favorite things to do in this game, but I'm not a fool and I realize when I finish a job to 75 and want to cap merits fast so my job is useful SMN burning is the way to do it, because it doesn't take a genious to realize 50k/hr > 20k/hr.

It's not like any random guy that gets 3 summoners a sync and a corsair and goes into K-Tunnel magically finds 50~55k exp or limit points.
Summoner burn is only fast exp if you actually know the pulling routes and have the people that know exactly what to do.
And that's only speaking of the people outside the party.

By the way, Summoner burning is not the fastest way for merits/exp anymore.

Summoner burn is only fast exp if you actually know the pulling routes and have the people that know exactly what to do.

Prolly Chigo burning have a Mule with a multi hit wepon in the mire with sheep and just spam it with TP and burn the chigos down at like 300exp per one and u can get higher chains its really fun =P and u can like one shot them thats how i lvled brd :bb:

Get with the times dude, when done right it rakes 15~20k more per hour then smn burn.

It's like having a freaking lvl 60 sync or something and have some high lvl hold a sheep in caderva mire and get it to keep popping fleas till it runs out and the sync prty kills the fleas etc etc. Dorren already told us about it. it's freaking stupid.

BECAUSE SMN BURN gives more fckin exp. No one is going to still have a freaking 60 job to keep syncing too/ want to wait for someone to keep holding a stupid sheep when you could have already made more exp than killing fleas... and it is more stupid cause I'd rather make the 7+ merits I can get from smn burnin within an hr/ or lower. It doesn't even take a freaking hr to get that much if you have enough people to pull stuff.. Jesus Fucking Christ

Precisely, and as it was already brought up the tunnel isn't always available, also it's pretty easy to find a 60 sync if it is level 60, on top of the fact it would take a couple hours before they're too high a level and the exp starts to drop. And what's difference between finding someone to hold the mobs for SMN burn and finding someone to hold the mobs for this method?

For the best exp on chigoes, the holder needs a kc to pop chigoes fastest. Joyeuse is an alternative apparently. Either kc/joy it's still another method.

CAN rake over 70~80k but are exceptional runs, average still is 45~55k, needs 2 hour abilities and my sarcastic snide to the snowball regarding the wildcards is not completely insane.

Chigoe burn averages 65~75k per hour, does not require any 2 hours, is a lot faster to set up and start with.
It also needs less characters to work.
Because of that you can pretty much get the next sync ready before your current sync gets too high.

There's also no bullshitting around with Corsairs rolling anything but V and VI on their Wild Cards.

The difference is that there is a cap on the stupid chigoes that spawn so you wouldn't be really making more than smn burn imo.. also it isn't hard to get someone to hold smn burn mobs but I doubt most people would travel to caedarva mire and hold a sheep or two unless that person is being tow boxed etc. also from wht I rem it was actually lvl 62 not suppose to be 60. Sync. No one gonna have 62 jobs ( seeking anyway)...
