So about that Assassin's Creed...

Most reviewers dumped all over Clive Barker's Jericho, but I liked it anyway. Assassin's Creed still looks pretty awesome to me.

This game was hyped to win even when the first pics were released. It can't be a letdown by any means! ; ;

Yeah, but some of the reviews don't even care about the hype, so much as what was promised or at least indicated by the developers doesn't actually appear in the game.

Most reviewers are giving it at least a 9.0. GT 9.1. GS 9.0. GI 9.5.

Most say it's a little disappointing but a very unique experience and a cool story.

Now, this got me worried Baja. I feel al over again like I did when FABLE turned out to be a bunch of crap. Not because it was a bad game, but because the developers talked so much BS about what the game would do and they didn't deliver... ; ;

GameTrailers gave it a 9.1. They didn't like how some things got repetitive but still said it's incredibly great, has great innovations for games of its kind, and other whatnots. I find it quite pwnsome myself <3 I am loving every moment of it

IGN can go fuck itself btw.

The game is fine, story is good, gameplay is fun, graphics are, of course, beautiful. The few things that are annoying (like some pretty stupid AI of enemies here and there and sitting on a bench hides you) it is, over all a great game.

My main complaint is that I can't really see myself free roaming like I'd hoped for. I figured this would do me good until GTA 4 in terms of running around killing people. Problem is that the guards are all balanced horribly. Too easy to run away from, too easy to kill and too hard to avoid to get running after you. I feel no motivation to be stealthy because unless I walk at 1/2 a mile an hour then it's pointless... and faster to just kill my way through.

Of course sitting on a bench hides you! Haven't you seen the cartoons where the mysterious-looking man in a black hat stares at you through a newspaper with holes cut out? Its fool proof!

lol, in some ways that has a reason to it, you're sitting with people and the guards are quickly trying to chase after someone, as far as they are concerned when they are running the less moving (or almost unmoving) people on the bench aren't noticed so easily. Specially if the guard, assuming, only got a quick glimpse at the offender in the first place :P now, I agree some instances are retarded, but there's actually some logic if people give it thought >.> not to mention I doubt people cared too much back then to give chase for hours on end like they do these days, but, hey, I don't know how the mindset was in those days :P

what I wanna know is what the twist in the story is (not too far yet) cause if it's that whole "this is really a machine looking back in the genes memory in a person" than that's not really shocking to me cause well, I read Dune and that has it all over the place :D still cool, but nothing "twist" to me

Despite not being the second coming of Jesus, this game is actually quite good, I gotta say. I'm getting quite good at assassinating people and it's a lot of fun when you're really in sync with your character. I hope it gets enough sales to justify becoming a franchise cause I just know with more work, a better refined sequel with more variety and better balance could becoming one of my favorite games. Especially if they like... take the assassin dude, keep him the exact same and put him in a modern city, to jump around on buses and shit.

I picked it up and played last night for a little bit. Someone mentioned the lack of free roaming but that really doesn't bother me at all. My main complaint is that the on-screen text is so small. I had to go stand by the TV to read it.

Other than that though, seems really fun. Can't wait to get further into it this weekend.

Oh ya, I so want them to make more of this type of game :P imo a woman would make a better assassin :D cause women can like, seduce you silly men :P and whatnot. Not to mention, more places for weapons :D Necklace = strangling wire, earrings = smoke bombs or something, other fun stuff :P

I do believe females gamers already have their role model.

I kind of understand where you're coming from. For me though, I didnt set my expectations too high and im enjoying it though. Im sure the next one will be even better.

Now I HAVE set my expectations high for Mass Effect. I hope it doesn't disappoint, and from reviews that i've read, it WONT!!!!!
