So whats more socially acceptable in FF11

You're serious? You actually want people to decide that? This is like one of those stupid "Would you rather die by being burned to death or being impaled by rusty spikes?" It's impossible to truly decide which is "worst"... the options all suck.

If those were my only three options, I'd just quit.

OMFG GARVIN IS OWNING THIS THREAD GTFO!

win

*continues to laugh ass off*

and i usually dont agree with what he posts

Since I just fish and cook, I would have to chose RMT to be around because all I do is sell actualy. The way RMT works actualy helps alot of people on the ah.

Hackers are anoying if they effect others people game play, but if they hack to improve their speed which just effects them, and it bothers you, roll with the punch's that's life.

alright alright lets give it a .hack//sign danger to it and your stuck in the game everyone is either RMT named hduafasha and adsauhdhsaa or you could get with Sirhacksalots LS.. Quiting is not an option!

Does this suck (Y/N)...I think we can make this the new ORLY/YARLY trend if we wanted >.>

Oh and how big is the fire/ how long are these rusty nails >.>

well its all a big ring.
Gil buyers fund gil sellers.
Hackers create the tools that gil sellers use.
most hackers are probly gilbuyers at some point.
its a hand in hand thing sadly, some hackers just hack for themselves tho, its the hack creators that help the RMT, or those who open sites to distribute such hacks. or make them openly availble on some forum somewhere.
honestly i ignored any RMT happenings in the game as it was just a game and nothing to get my worries up over.
im neutral on the whole thing, but see how it goes hand in hand.
what he said it a trick question cant have one without the other.

While yes, it is a rather stupid question, you think about it the wrong way.

if everyone were gilbuyers and RMT, then gilbuying would be socially acceptable. Thus, the asnwer is simple, you wouldn't mind as much as you do now.

If everyone were hackers, hacking would, to some extent, be socially acceptable. Thus, the answer is simple, you wouldn't care as much. If everyone do it, its not considered wrong.

Downloading stuff (aka. pirating) is legally wrong, but its mostly socially acceptable. Why? Because so many do it, its considered an everyday thing. As it is now, you can't chose, because your moral stance of it is that both are wrong. However, if one of those would happen, your moral stance on it would be different. Its easy to say now that you would quit. But if it had been like that sinceyou started the game, and that's all you knew, can almost guarantee that you wouldn't mind (as much).

Peopel adjust to the situation they're in. Its as simple as that. You can cpompare it to the eye. When the su is up, you can see all of these pretty colors. During moonlight, we actually are unable to see colors. All we can se is in grayscale. However, we have preassumed colors for the things we see, so the brain colors them accordingly. If you were given the choice of either living in a world where the grass is either red or blue, you would think "wtf? why? That won't ever happen". Why yes, that is true, if it did happen, though, that's all you would know, and you'd adjust accordingly and don't think about it.

So basically, both would be OK, assuming it had been like that from the start.

I have the feeling a lot of people are going to be quoting this image.

And I don't care which one I'm surrounded by, I'd GM them both.

Cheating is cheating.

That said, SE "allows" sellers and buyers to exist. I say they allow it, only because many still remain, and have for years now. ...

Hackers change the game with 3rd party tools, editing files, and doing whatever else to alter the intended gameplay.

Both types of cheaters know damn well what they are doing, but hacking seems more malicious. I'm not talking about long term, wide spread effects, but the single act itself...Clicking some buttons on IGE versus making alterations for a distinct advantage over other legit players.

The answer is that neither are socially acceptable.
There is such a thing as a stupid question.

Holy shit... I'm siding with the House-fan. damn you Garvin....

Dude. Impaled all the way.

If you got Impaled, there is a good chance you'd die right away. Dying in a fire would suck more than this thread.

BUT we have to assume that the person doing the impaling wants you to die quick and doesnt pick the non vital parts to impale first!

Not neccesarily. Depends on what you mean by "impaled". There were a lord called "Dracul" that impaled his friends and enemies with wodden poles. Through their stomache, and out of their throat, avoiding any and all vital organs. They could hang there untill they starved and thirsted to death.

It'd be worth the risk. At least there is a chance of instant death. With fire, its all pain.

I would rather play with Gilbuyers/RMT etc... if their not cheating.

Gil buying is cheating.

On the question, I think people in end game are more apt to admit to hacking than to gil buying. All though, I would guess the majority of them buy gil, especially the ones who gimp their main job to 75, then all of a sudden get decked out.

Lower level players are more apt to admitting they buy gil. Kind of odd, but Ive seen a lot of players in their 20s -50s that readily make it known.

I should've written names down because I bet some of them troll around here and have landed in end game shells.

This should make any real fisherman LOL.

Thanks for cluing us in on what hack you decided to roll with after asking Chasym where you could find some.

Hey the OP just asked for a choice, I'm not planning to waste my time discussing it lol.

I would rather compete in end-game against gilbuyers and RMT then cheaters that get an unfair advantage. Gilbuyers can't buy abjurations.

Gilbuyers and worse than gilsellers in my opinion. If people didn't buy gil then the gilsellers wouldn't exist. In an ideal world none of them would exist.

Whew, least I'm just a gilsellers I guess V^o^
