I dont know if i can get into this. Let me know if its improved or anything Raidr. There are too many games coming out now for me to just go purchase this day one.
 
Its not so bad because I already put 5 down to get in the beta and I didn't get the one with the bluetooth so i only gotta put another 35 into it. For what it is thats not to bad IMO. I'll let you know whats up later tonight though.
 
I'm thinkin' I'm goin' with Dead Space this week over this. I can't stop playin' Battlefield: Bad Company for some reason so I don't really need another multiplayer game right now.
 
Remind me never to shop at Gamestop again. "No, today is the ship day, it comes out tomorrow" Well then why the fuck do I have it at best buy? Thank god I only put 5 bucks down on it. So yeah, fuck gamestop. Ill only go there for midnight releases.

But your store is such a pain in the ass to get into D: Maybe I'll check you out for mid nights, but from now on I'll just get new games at best buy since we usually have them and I get a decent discount (10 bucks off socom).

Oh and fucking A. The game install was 2 gbs and took like 30 mins, and then there was a 1.10 patch when I loaded it up and thats been running for like 10 mins. Ridiculous.
 
We have our own door? We do midnights for almost everything. The things we don't do midnights for we go pick up from the airport so we have it a day earlier than everywhere else. Dead space, for example, we will have the day before everyone else.
 
No I mean pulling in to that parking lot of Snelling is a pain in the ass.
 
Heh, seems the only thing that came out today that was suppose to, at Gamestop, was that fuckin' "I wanna be a G" game...

I pulled all of my pre-orders for future releases and Dead Space and I'll never spend a dime there again. Easier for me to hit up Best Buy anyways.
 
And fucking shit. Stupid PSN update so i cant play this shit for like another hour. So weak....
 
Just went 204-90 in a frostfire respawn with 72 head shots. Pretty good for first round back on the map.

Also as sad as it is for me to say, the Famas is actually really good and I might have to be in a french clan D: Otherwise 552 on terrorist and M4 and HK5 are beast on seals.
 
Looks like alot more people got the game and started playing today because the servers are WAY overloaded. I had no problems yesterday, but only been able to get in 2 games today and have played a total of like 3 rounds, real pain in the ass. Keep getting disconnected or I can't even join a game. Then when I finally get in one my game freezes so I have to restart my PS3, and now I can't get past the login screen...

If you're not in a hurray to play this, def wait for them to fix the servers and get some patches out there. The game is really fun, but you need to be able to get in a room an play before you can enjoy it (which currently you cant).
 
Still have not been able to play a game. Socom: Confrontation is a bunch of bullshit, it's basically a $60 headset and a useless disc. A lot of the features advertised aren't even there, and are supposedly going to be patched in. Save your money people, there are many games coming out for the rest of the year and most have developers who aren't incompetent assholes. Maybe one day it will be a fun, working game, with the features they claim on the box it has, until then stay the hell away from it.

This is someone speaking who had all the Socom games on PS2, had the network adapter, ext. It was my favorite shooter last gen(maybe tied with Timesplitters 2).

? I've had no issues with it other than when they intentionally took the server down to do some updating (about 2 hours a few nights ago). Otherwise I've had no problems what so ever. In fact I played with my clan for like 4 hours straight last night.

Aside from some of the shit I don't like such as whack reloads, fade in from black at spawn and some other random shit, this is probably my favorite socom yet. And if they fixed those other little things I mentioned this could be one of my favorite shooter period. Gotta wait and see how gears is but Socom is pretty good.

Also I'm having more problems with the Resistance Beta than I did with the Socom beta. I can't join or create a game at all. I'm thinking about pulling my preorder cause thats pretty BS.
 
You still haven't learned not to preorder from Gamestop? Have fun buying your game from BestBuy when they don't get it in on the right day.
 
You can get your money back, I did for socom. Plus I just wanted access to the R2 beta, because I figured I'd be able to play it. Otherwise I won't get shit from them, only midnights if i cant get em from you.
 
I don't have a complaint about the gameplay. In the beta it was quite awesome. I however have not yet been able to play a whole game in the full release. Most of the time I can't even get past the title screen.
 
Bumping this from third page in hopes of getting some discussion going again. The game was FINALLY released here in Europe as well as the trophy patch and patch 1.41 for bug fixes and such.

Anyone still playing this game?
 
Havent played in awhile. Was thinking about loading back up the other day buy my ps3 is shot atm so havent had a chance.
