Soloing Limbus?

Ok so I have attempted Apollyon SW duo..and got the first item chest and that was it. Now I don't expect to get farther than about the first or second floor with 2 people.. But
I was wondering which areas are the best to solo/duo, and also any helpful strats on doing this?

On wiki it looks as if Apolly SE and NW could be easily cleared by 2, at least the first floor.. Anyone else ever try doing this? Thanks for replies in advance.

Don't know much about duo, but for solo, Apollyon SE is a pretty good place to start with; I can usually get two time extensions and kill 4~5 crabs on the second floor as NIN. Temenos N first floor is a bit harder but also doable, 30 min is just about enough to kill two WAR gobs and get the item chest.

What Uku said. The key in Tenemos is to walk by the 2 wandering gobs (can'T remember their jobs) to get to the Warriors. It's easy to do if you time it right so they don't see you. I always went nin/war with a few remedy for paralysis shower, eye drops and fire resistance gear for Crisp Candle. Nin/whm would probably work well but I don't have it leveled myself.

If they nerrf /dnc or DNC I will cry this job has opened up sooo many options yours being one of them. Leveling my NIN As much as possible and so far with /dnc I do great soloing @ level 43 if I choose the mobs wisely.

argh yeah i wanna lv dnc so bad. from what i see and hear nin/dnc could be a god. But I appreciate everyone's posts, it gives me something to look forward to in 2 more days when i get another cosmo cleanse, Thanks!

Uku what weapon do you use then? since the secondfloor they are immune to slashing.

In order to prevent routinely pissing off large numbers of people, pay attention to when certain groups are in limbus so you aren't "that fucker soloing our zone" when a group wants to go there.

If you are planning to solo, please do yourself and others a favor by having comment up before you enter, including which zone you are in and estimate time to get out.

If there's people already in the area where you are going to solo, it's always a good idea to check if there's anyone in the zone already been waiting, make sure to have your entering order sorted beforehand.

I've cleared NW for win with just 3 before. its not that hard of a zone.

That blm in that link has soloed NW lol. A gimpy like my blm couldn't do it, but I bet I could duo it with another blm

Only jobs I know of soloing limbus stuff is ninjar and blm. Blm can supposedly get quite a bit more coins.

Rdm I'm presuming would be too slow for a limbus type deal.

Rdm can solo almost as well as blm/rdm in limbus; the normal mobs don't resist much at all, and a larger MP pool with convert and HP/MP chests almost puts them up to the same level. I know of at least one rdm that has solo'ed kings apollyon zone.

Thf can solo SE almost as well as nin, the slimes take extra damage from piercing.

Blm can solo the first floor chest in all zones:
-North is an easy win, kill both War gobs and avoid the rdms, you'll probably have time to kill a rdm or two for coins after getting the chest.
-East is elementals, a well geared blm with meds can take out 3 of them and an avatar in under 30 minutes, which gives you a 75% shot at the item chest, plus if you don't get item you can grab time and have a shot at a chest on the 2nd floor.
-West sucks, it's random, and it's tigers, huge amount of luck.
-NW is kings, a blm can easily solo the first floor boss for item chest, and with luck on the first two vortexes can get a really good payoff.
-SW is the fomors, just kill the two of your race and 3 chests pop, you get to pick one. 2nd floor is trees that spawn mobs, each spawned mob drops a coin.
-NE is just a matter of pulling the right mobs without getting a link.
-SE takes some real skill and serious balls, kill two slimes for time, then the boss and go up, then play killga with some crabs.

Though someone like me would try for like 1-2 floors <.<
