I have heard that Macha's Coat is soloable due to the way Qiqirn Treasurehunters fight. However, Wiki says that Salvage is a minimum of 6 people. Am I missing something?

Ok so I have attempted Apollyon SW duo..and got the first item chest and that was it. Now I don't expect to get farther than about the first or second floor with 2 people.. But I was wondering which areas are the best to solo/duo, and also any helpful strats on doing this? On wiki it looks as...

I'm a 75 White Mage who wants to try his hand at soloing. Mainly I want to start farming a bit and taking an active role in procuring seals for BCNM fights. What sort of gear should I be looking to acquire and what sort of soloing strategies should I follow? (Leveling Ninja isn't viable for...

I really have no clue how well this would work, and yeah I know it is not a practical choice to party with. But it does look like a combo that would be fun to play around with. Anyone ever tried this out, or can try it? My pld is only lv 12 so I cant. Im just wondering about the defense...

Once I hit 75, I wanted to try my luck soloing Wamoura Princes like any other Blm worth his petasos. I discovered I'm not worth my petasos. To summarize, I'm going 7 wins of 14 tries. I'm using the tried and true sleep-nuke technique that worked for maat and all my other soloing endeavors...

I've been playing SMN off and on for quite some time and am looking forward to eventually becoming a level 75 SMN. The only problem is that I have limited time to party. I was wondering if there is a good place for a level 53 SMN (1000 tnl) to solo. I have heard that at 54 SMN can duo in...

The other day, I was trying to get Poison Breath, and the hounds in Tahrongi Canyon wouldn't use it at all (I literally left one alive, beating on me, from around 2:30 until about 19:30 game time, and it never once used Poison Breath >.>). So I headed to Gusgen Mines to see if there were any...

I was reading up on all of the Corsair rolls and one of them caught my eye, the Corsair's rolle (expierience points boost). This got me thinking, if you wanted to solo for a little while, couldn't you just sub COR give yourself some buffs and just kill? I'm not sure how much the expierience is...

I am just curious what the overall best job is for soloing. pick any job with best possible armor and best possible player at level 75. Any subjob is fine. Some characteristics should be considered such as least amount of downtime, ability to solo many types of mobs, able to deal with links, and...
