I think the term you're looking for in regards to Aly is "technically bi, acts gay".

The upshot of this whole topic (which really doesn't apply to true bisexuals, since they'll go "yeah, I'll go for the hot one" no matter which way you make the argument) is that *most* people would rather go for a hot person (by whatever definition suits them) of the gender they don't like, than for an exceptionally disgusting (again, by whatever definition suits them) member of the gender they do like.

Which I suppose, if you think about it, means that we're all a teeny tiny bit bisexual. Which is fine, I've accepted that I'd rather screw a hot chick than a seriously disgusting guy, despite being a gay guy myself.

There are exceptions of course, who would sooner do the grossest person they could imagine, of the right gender for them, than the wrong gender for them. Which is fine too - most people prioritize non-disgustingness over correct gender, but for some it's the other way around. This is not in and of itself homophobia.

However, you *are* getting into the realm of homophobia if you start labeling people in the other camp and looking down on them, in a sort of "I'm straighter than you" way. This applies to both camps, by the way, both the "I'm so straight that I wouldn't ever touch a guy" and the "I'm so confident in my straightness that I could touch a guy and still call myself straight".

(EDIT: And yes, all converses of the above with gay people, heterophobia, and so on are equally applicable.)
