Some technical thoughts

Just as an FYI, don't count on me to serve any server when it comes out. I actually won't be around for the release of the game. Just picked up a new job and I will be away for 5 weeks starting in September for training.

I still say just pick server #15 and run with it.
Half the reason I stuck around QCDN as long as I was on the server was for the event scheduling and recruiting. I mean... I stuck around after moving for the friends I'd made, but if QCDN wasn't what it was my account would probably by as dormant as my Alla account.

I installed the product / plugin "different domain, different forum" tonight. Have a couple of small hiccups to think about and I may need to do some settings where http://www. redirects to just http://

... the ffxi specific forums will only be on qcdn though

....... and I may have to use /forums

................ but I can add the portal page.
 
Yeah, you need to go over the portal page with me when you get that up. lol
