Some tips to some Rdm's

this thread should be titled, how to be an idiot and criticize jobs you dont play much.

im sorry you have chosen poor RDMs to party with in the past, its not like i blame BLMs for the shitty BLMs that i have played with.

and like jender said, nothing wrong with an elvaan rdm..... it takes good gear to keep shit rolling, but if ya dont have good gear, then.....you dont farm or care enough in my opinion.

i love a know it all lvl46 war......
 
Just something else I would like to add to my earlier post. A lot of jobs are able to get into a set routine. I have even seen people clam they can do there job with there eyes closed. They do the same thing every single battle.

Though we Red Mages try to do that, out job does not permit it. Jezza post covers pretty much covers what we are doing during a fight, and it makes it sound very easy. What it does cover is the orders of things are often shifted based on the battle and changing environment. We always have to make split second choose about which of our spells are going to cast next. We are watching the text box, the HP/MP Bars, and the surrounding area for danger. It all sounds very easy, but all of this is going on in a small block of time.

I am not surprised there are a lot of poorly played RDMs out there, it is a very demanding job that isn’t for everyone; unfortunately because we have the coolest AF everyone wants to be us, but even though there are a lot of poor RDMs out there, people should judge each RDM separately, as well as give there particular play style a chance, as long as the results are the same. If you don’t like the way they do a particular thing, ask them why they do it. They may have a very valid reason for it.
 
I still wanna know how I leave for 6 months or so.. (3 of which were summer time of 2004) and come back and I suddenly see about every RDM being an Elvaan O.o We became the popular race for that job pretty fast or something... *scratches her head* I dunno...

and blowy i wasnt trying to affend someone if i did im sorry im trying to say that if RDm's forget to refresh and people tell em over and over dont get made and leave a party..... thats all i was trying to say. so im sorry if anyone took it personally
 
haha i dove into this game only knowing i wanted to be elvaan, and that i didn;t want to be a warrior right away. i chose rdm without knowing much about it. and threw trial and error, i believe i have become a good rdm, not great, but at least good. i am only 18 with it, but i have been trying to lvl a blm also... plus i haven;lt played since december sometime, which sucks and is killing me. maybe tomorrow....

Again, can we be a little more creative - using "fucker" 3 million times doesn't help get your point acrossed any faster. It is a cop out for not being smart enough to say something witty.

I never met Prince in the game (well, he DID raise me 10 times while suiciding in Jeuno... but nvm that), but I heard he's a good RDM in-game. But I won't comment on this since I haven't partied with him =/
