Anyone want to try to explain to me why it is as I get older (yea.. har) although I seldom get the chance to (not that I would) drink often, when I do and plan on tieing one on I can drink myself sober?! The few times I get a wicked buzz off 2 drinks I can understand having gone long periods of time with absolutely no alcohol.
 
Were you drinking when you typed that? It doesn't quite make sense like it must have in your head. :P

A few months back I went out with some friends and myself and my gf were very set on getting good and sloppy! But $65 in I had gone from slightly tickled to stone cold sober >< Didn't matter that I threw some straight tequila into the mix.. idk, I just find it strange.
 
Oye, that is wierd. I'd be gone if I spent that much on liquor and I'm not as young as I used to be, either.
 
Wow can i take you two on a date? I'm just getting started about 200 in... Shit 65 dollars i haven't even felt a buzz yet.

On a serious note, cheebs, i found that after not drinking for a few months it does seem that it takes less to fulfill my buzz, then i sober up before i can try get trashed..

That actually happens to me too, lol. If I haven't had a drink for a while, I feel it a bit sooner, but it also gets out of my system quicker.

Then again, I've come to the conclusion that I can't get drunk off of anything less than hard liquor. I get full on beer before it gets past slightly buzzed.
 
Yeah.. I gotta agree. I tend to get full on beer before I get buzzed, which is why I try to drink them as fast as possible now so I do get buzzed or better.

Like seriously, if I downed those 5 guiness like Blaze I'd feel extremely good and bad(full) about 30 seconds to a few minutes later.
 
All you need to do is learn to drink ;)
