GAWD I can't wait! I don't know about you guys but I such a huge fan of Splinter Cell.

These are MY games. Stealth and man this release looks sexy!

The 'shadow' you leave behind when you've broken the line of sight with your enemy is pretty crazy. I always loved the interactiveness of these games. Dragging your unconscious victims into dark corners to 'rest' while you continue on your mission. Shooting out the lights in your general area to creep along unnoticed. The stealth kills. I think I like playing in the dark o.O

This is the first trailer I've seen for it. I likes.
 
I never really liked any of the splinter cell games but this one does look good. Might have to pick it up.
 
MGS4 >

Never really got into Splinter Cell games. Don't get me wrong, I've heard how great they are. I had Pandoras whatever for the PS2...played maybe an hour or so of it and I got bored.

I love me some Splinter Cell, again though these are right up my alley. It all stemed from Syphon Filter. I am skilled in the ways of the stealthy ninja, so I can see were you guys wouldn't much like em. Not very sneaky eh. I know most guys like the runnin and gunnin games more than sneaky lets not been seen type.

I'm looking forward to it.

You DO know MGS can be played ENTIRELY without being seen ONCE through a 20 hour game right?

If ANYONE knows about stealth...it's Konami.

Oh and Ninjas too. They're pretty stealthy.

Hey I never said anything about MGS (I know you kinda sorta mentioned it, but I'm still a better gamer in general, pfft guys just need to learn your places!), I have played all Medal Gears I could get my hands on!

Being a gamerchick is serious bizsnatch okay, people calling me all the times for ways to pass certain points in the game.. I mean I'm tapped out here! lol

I can't see how anyone couldn't get into Splinter Cells, uuuunless it was like too slow for you, that I can see. I just love all the wicked gadgets and cool moves and stealth attacks you can do! hehe
 
This game is completely different compared to all past Splinter Cells. From the E3 video the game looks incredible..

I can say one thing i do know for sure... Splinter Cell will have a hell of a lot more gameplay then MGS4 lmao. All it has to do is last me more then 2 hours.
 
Ive heard MGS can be completed in about 2.5hrs without being seen :P
Will the new splinter cell have multiplayer? co-op would be good :)
 
I was talking about MGS4. I never played it as I dont have a ps3, but ive heard from alot of people who have how short it is.

I beat MGS4 in 2 Hours 13 Minutes. This was a rampage run through.

I then beat MGS4 in 2 Hours 53 Minutes. No detection.

MGS4 was a bad movie and a short game.

EDIT: One of the main people Libara has heard from was me lol.

You're just slow lol NOT that that's a bad thing as you obviously got your game play on with it and your moneys worth. Perfect!

I hate going through games quickly, that's probably why I'm not the type to play it right through once I buy it. I usually will put it down and come back after switching up. I've been disappointed many times by short ass games. POO

MGS though, some have been short, some perfect game length, either way I've been very satisfied with them.
 
Closest stealth game ive played is Rainbow Six Vegas and Vegas 2. Reading up on splinter cell tho I am getting more and more excited xD
 
The first 2 Rainbows I liked but LOATHED the controls. Drove me nucking futty I kid you not! Otherwise I really enjoyed Rainbows as well.

Take a look at the trailer if you guys haven't already. This Splinter Cell will rock the casbah!

annnnd.. I'm just about outta quote time, fucking mr barbara walterz / charlie brown having me babysitting his ass. running around calling everyone nazis has taken up all my time!! lol

I saw the trailer when I was watching E3, definitly looked good, the only splinter cell that has peaked my interest.

...you're lucky you're hot.

But yeah, this Splinter Cell game looks pretty sick. I just don't think it'll compare graphically or even in terms of gameplay with what Metal Gear Solid 4 had on the PS3.
