It's official. Final Fantasy XIII will be on the PS3. Currently, a trailer was shown behind closed doors and was responded to as: "Amazing." All pictures are used in real-time, the only CG in the entire trailer/pictures being used on a train (not shown in pictures).

There will also be another game based on FFXIII for the cellphone, and a spin off titled: FF Versus XIII, an action game made by the same team that created Kingdom Hearts.

Stay tuned for more information and the official release of the trailer for FFXIII. Careful, these pictures are not for the faint of heart. You will geek out.

Wait Wait Wait. THIS is the regular graphics style?

Somewhere the 360 console is crying.

that actually looks like doa4 on 360 looks, plus its gonna be multi platform most likley. they were talking about doing that.

but that looks so bad ass!!
im so glad its another chapter and not an announcement of an FFVII remake, that really doesnt need to exist! im more excited over the look of this one than 12!

Kinda disappointed an the enviromental graphic, using rendering light to make the game look nice like in Guild war :P
but character design isn't bad at all, look like a sexier version of FFXII :P

:D

The next one I am looking forward to will be FFXIV or FFXV, whichever is the next MMO in the series. Action FF, I am not so sure about. I'll wait and see.

iam not sure abot this .... its look more like Action RPG to me ...

I'm not sure if this face:

...could be the latest FF incarnation of their classic blonde, effiminate hero, but I'm definitely attracted to it. I'm confused. It's that same girl, right? o_O

I'm experiencing a bit of a Taylor Hanson complex, here.

EDIT: Saw the video. Oh my God. OH MY GOD. Screw the strangely alluring girlboything, I wanna make babies with the game.

BLM Cannon? Thats alot of fire spells going off at once.

Aryada, FFXIII is getting two games on the PS3, and one on the cell phone. FFXIII and FFXIII Versus are for the PS3, and I forgot the name of the third one for cell phone.

Reminded me of Spirits Within, mixed with a little FF8 (can you say Gun-Blade? :D) Good stuff.
