Square Enix's next gen MMO:

Anyways, if FFXIII doesn't improve over FFXII, I'm putting more faith in Mistwalker than SE.

My take on FF12 is this.

FF12 was a good game. But it was not a good Final Fantasy.

Massive lack of many important FF elements ; ;

FFXIII looks to be back on the right track so far. Hope for the best!

There are 20 billion different versions of 13. you need to be more specific.

After FF11 I dont really see myself getting into any other mmo, especially by SE. And does it really matter if it has FF in the title? I mean most numerical FF's dont have anything to do with the other FF titles anyway, so it really doesnt matter if its called FF or not.

I think making it a "Final Fantasy" titled game would be a mistake. I know the main reason I ever picked up XI was because of the title, but I also doubt I'd go for another MMO made by Se unless it really looked spectacular. You gotta figure alot of people originally started XI because of the name alone, and it would be foolish to try and trick those same people a second time into buying/paying monthly for a game similar to one they still play, or quit playing already.

Name it Chrono Trigger online. I'm a marketing genius.

But I want moogles, chocobos and Cid! >.>

Imo, they will make it in the FF series. I mean why is FFXI so popular ? If it had been called Vanadiel online for example would you have tried it ? Personally it's my first mmo and the only reason I tried is it was a "FF" and i'm sure a lot of player did the same.

As for the platform(s) on which it will be released, it's just a matter of marketing atm I think ... They even said of thinking about a linux release lol.

Accuracy +100

Design-wise, that looks like FFXI with higher quality graphics

You nailed it perfectly with this mini-review.

I really hope they make it in the Chrono-Trigger Universe. Then we will see hordes of gamers signing up for the Beta and buying.

Heres the thing, SE has alienated so much of its player base that when this comes out not many will drop FFXI for it, but blizzard is also working on another MMORPG and I can guaran-damn-tee that if it includes the words "star" and "craft" every motherfucker will leave whatever they are playing.

Star World Of Crafts Online: Ghost II

?

I'll care more about this when there's information that isn't a picture and some uninteresting text.

Will it be under the Final Fantasy franchise? That's iffy.
Will it go through PlayOnline? You bet your ass it will.

Only talking about the 2 that matter. FFXIII and FFXIII Versus.

I dunno about this. I'd say if the game runs off a semi-same style, people will swap over. Whether or not it's part of the FF series or not, it will probably be a more updated version with some good ol' "learned from our mistakes" things tossed in. A lot of the people who left FFXI just need to be refreshed, though I'm sure some of them have decided it's not the type of game they prefer and will stick with Blizzard style games. Either way, I think it'll be just as healthy as FFXI was in its prime.

SE will defiantly need something to counter star craft so maybe this will not only bring more people into the game, but keep current FFXI players......or maybe they can be nice and call it Star Ocean online for me hehe

Why? This is SquareEnix, and it's an (mmo)RPG.
It's fine where it is, imo :/

Don't feel like reading but the hume female looks like Ulma.
