Has anyone come up with a good gambit combo that would allow one character to steal from every enemy once and then move on to attacking them and whatnot?

Only ones I can come up with cause my character to steal from any mobs in sight ><

Foe HP = 100% works well, but then your character will continue to steal from the same mob if he's at full hp, but that's the most efficient one I've found thus far.

No the AI in this game is actually pretty smart, considering its all completely customizable to your liking.

so considering the average person, yes...

I use Foe hp < 1,000 and switch it on and off as needed. nothing gauranteed, because they can die before it but it isn't annoying where your characters go running off.

Ally HP = 100% Attack

Non-leader thief person 1:
- Enemy HP = 100%, steal
- Enemy leader's targeting, attack
- Enemy any, attack

Non-leader other person 2:
- Enemy HP = 100%, attack
- Enemy leader's targeting, attack
- Enemy any, attack

Leader person 3:
- Enemy in critical HP, attack
- Enemy leader's targeting, attack
- Enemy any, attack

Summary:
- When you approach some enemies, person 1 will start systematically stealing from them and person 2 will start systematically attacking them (which makes person 1 stop stealing).

- In the meantime, person 3 (who you're controlling) is picking out targets (and has started beating something up).

- When person 1 and person 2 are done making everything nearby have less than 100% HP, they join in and beat up on whatever person 3 is fighting.

- If person 3 is for some reason (such as emergency curing, which should of course be higher on the gambit list than the above attacks) not attacking something, person 1 and person 2 have gambits to attack any nearby enemies, just so they don't stand around going "durrr, leader's not attacking anything, I'm pretty".

- Note that person 1 will be getting fewer hits in (and thus fewer kills), so try to make them cast spells a bit less since they won't be getting MP back so fast as the others.

- Suggest turning off the two HP = 100% gambit lines for boss fights, and steal manually.

Only problem I have with those is they tend to start attacking every enemy I run into, and sometimes thats a bad thing ;x Otherwise yeah, they work fine.

Well if you get close enough for them to attack then typically you're close enough for the enemy to be attacking you back anyway. And if you weren't planning to fight, then that's what the R2 button is for.

I was thinking it would do it to non aggresive mobs too. But it doesnt so it works great. I'm using a variation of your idea.

Thanks
