Stealing and MPKing is the only way to go?

Had they "LEGITIMATLY" claimed it, Nasya, same scenario... I don't know if you have ever camped this but Lucifar will even attempt to MPK his JP counterparts. He is a sly, dirty, piece of shit with no regards but to anyone but himself, much like Kurei but he has more balls than Kurei. I don't think the guys would have tried to take Asp. had they not already tried to MPK us once previously on Adamantoise, to the help of Oberstien's LS they didn't kill us. Even Svina has enough value to not steal a mob if no wrong has been done, as does most of the LS. Had they not MPKed us before hand this wouldn't have went down more than likely. Eye for an eye tooth for a tooth, comes into effect here. Don't believe in that ? O well, thats a personal choice so not anyones say as to if it's wrong or immoral. You probably didn't know we had previously been MPKed legitimatly so you wrote what you did, mabey you did but still against it.. I can only assume, however let me offer you some elementary advice, get the full scoop before you flame. Had you heard the full history of our camps there you may not have even wrote anything, but you heard it via word of mouth from a new person in our LS , who doesn't know the history either, to a member in your shell. Still think what happened is wrong ? Welp, guess we can't all have values of steel... We aren't gonna sit there, like some LS's, and take it between the legs by the JP's while they laugh at us and do nothing.

Okay let me explain what happened here. The first run-in we had with Sou's LS in the valley (Sou? Kanya? I don't know who they are all with really, but they're all against Lucifar's bullshit tactics) was during server up time. We were stalling the NM since that seems to be the common practice. Halfway through the first 2 hours I get a tell from Kanya saying "keep NM? i call GM"... I just asked "why?"

So within bout 5 minutes Reality gets a tell from a GM, I tell him to let them talk to me instead. They start telling us to kill the NM as we're performing grief tactics (wtf?). I like how when a JP calls a GM on NA, prompt and firm action is taken. However, if you stall the NM as such, there is a high chance of it being stolen as it will declaim. It can't be avoided. When they got aspid, they proceeded to do just that, stall. At some point the tank just stopped attacking, turning their back to the NM and it lost the claim. Now normally like the day before this happened I would've told everyone to disband... but when we got to camp I get a tell from the other LS camping there "HQ pop today. Good luck".

And as it is the right thing to do, I responded "gl" also. So sometime around the 2nd window I ask her if she thinks Lucifar would MPK us if we got it... and she sends me "/sigh it is probable"

From there on she explained what happened at the last aspid pop when they got it. I was watching this along with my friend Proph, so if you think this is fabricated, you can confirm this... or with Odhinn, since I recall him telling it as such. They had gotten the claim and were preparing to fight it (killing adds)...somewhere along the way they lost the claim... and lucifar told Odhinn to chi blast it. Soon after i saw Sou's LS suddenly disengage even though it still appeared claimed, I saw Odhinn get D2'ed and Lucifar watched as they proceeded to die to the mob that was now claimed by his group. The same Lucifar who spams his hatred towards NA in his search comment and to those who message him? So I guess it's okay for Lucifar to steal and MPK as he pleases then?

I said it a million times. I have one policy, and that's you fuck with me, I fuck with you. We've become on good terms with the other JP LS and have agreed to avoid foul play between us, but we both agree Lucifar will get what's coming to him. And we won't let it continue. That is all.

Well its a good thing Uzor had told me to come watch it and I decided to bring Tymon along. They were all dead before we got there but we atleast could raise them ^^

And yeah, from what I know of Lucifar and his crew and their actions to claim stuff, I can't see anything wrong with taking Aspi guy from them. He would've probably done the same >.>

Damn straight dude. I see how far the NA have gotten on other servers, and look at ours and am ashamed to mention any accomplishments to them...because we are so far behind everyone it is unreal. NA on other servers have kraken clubs, full koenig sets, full crimson, dalmaticas, everything... they dominate the abjuration land HNMs much like the JP on quetz do, and the JP are the ones who are losing. If you read the backhistory of these triumphant NA HNM shells, they had to break a lot of necks and get their hands dirty to start a revolution.

Quetz will never be able to catch up if we dont' start taking force over peaceful measures, as obviously these JP do not want peace. I've been more than open to peaceful solution with these groups, and so far have been successful, with all but Lucifar who more than politely had members telling us (Middle Finger Gauntlets),,|,, (Diseased)(country)(Leave) with countless MPK threats.

I was nice about the stolen claim the other day... in fact a lot of my LS was kicking me over making them release it, because of who it was, Lucifar. I honestly wanted to say go ahead and hold it, but I had to kick myself too, because it was stupid to let them retrieve the claim. Serise, Cashell... as far as I understand are not directly in the same LS as Lucifar... they don't all think the same way, and I know for a fact they are more reasonable people. I would not do such a thing to them, unless it was provoked with similar actions.

However I think Serise is pissed at us now for doing it, simply because Lucifar won't leave until he gets X number of kills still... and by us stealing their claim, we were only prolonging his stay in the valley.
 
Uzor, this is not a flame, but some friendly advice. If you are going to post about foul play, and especially when it could be blamed on the group you are trying to win sympathy for, give more background information to defend your case. This is a flame board, and people are going to respond to the thread with the information you give them, it’s not their duty to dig deeper for missing details, specifics give arguments much more sway.

Strid, if you go back and look at my posts I asked a number of questions, some of which your post just now has answered, which could have, once answered, make this thread seem like a less offensive complaint. This I believe would be trying to "get the whole scoop", like you suggested one should do. However, when it comes to flame etiquette, it is the initiators responsibility to give as much information possible, and to defend before even attacked...

According to what has been said by others, the group today has never been MPKed or stolen from before by Lucifar, though they have reasons to believe they would perhaps run into that. Personal choice can still be moralized... so your claim that someone not agreeing with "eye for eye and tooth for tooth" tactics on the base of morals is unfounded.

Now, onto personal opinions on that topic, and to address "taking it between the legs", which I am going to guess was directed at me... Personally, I think it is best to negotiate, or at least try to negotiate terms between two groups that are in conflict. As long as both groups agree to the terms, even if there is compromise, this is generally the best tactic.

If, however, one group is unresponsive to the idea of trying to work things out, or breaks their agreement, than I think it is entirely just to go all out with them. Stealing an NM, or maybe claiming the NM when it goes yellow and calling for help and than killing it since that really really makes others upset, and keeps them from stealing it back... anything really but MPKing... it is war at that point and I wouldn't hold anything against anyone who was in that situation. To offend first though or to resort to such tactics first is not something I personally admire, or would ever sympathize with.

Lastly, I am not the only person who responded negatively but I was the only one to be addressed about it... interesting. Hm, "mabey" I should be more careful to check for typos in the future...
 
i plan on being included on hunts like this when i hit the right lvl (i'm still a noob and dont really know what lvl =p), and when i get there i dont want to be forced to camp Jaggedy jack cause NA hnm ls's are getting punked. i'm willing to come along, if we can get another alliance together of people who can take out links and such. the reward being that when i'm involved in the camping alliance that i will be able to enjoy in killing the hnm.
 
As far as i know it was me whole "stole" aspidoche from lucifar. After svina gave the ok i started spamming voke and whent it was 1/4 down i saw my voke macro give me a 00:29 on voke /recast. First time an NA LS has ever had this NM to my knowledge, yay for me. Anyway on the point of this.

I one had a rather long and heated converastion with Lucifar's ex-NA lapdog shiutou. According to shiutou there's a JP HNMLS triangle that controls 3 HNMs. Serise on Behemoth/KB, Cashell on Fafnir/Nidhogg, and Lucifar on Adamantoise/Aspidochelone. Shiutou told me that if any of the leaders lost the claim on the HQ pop they would resort to attempting to steal it and MPKing the group that took it...expecially if they were NA, because it made the LS look bad. I said something to the effect of, "So they will MPK to keep their reputation and standing....don't sound very honorable to me." Shiutou then said something like "It's not about honor or reputation, it's about control." I don't see a difference between reputation and control in this game, so the arguement went on for the better part of 30 minutes, and shiutou kept trying to shovel the same ol' shit.

I've camped Behemoth/KB with Serise back in the day when i was but a tiny lvl 60 pld. Even when we lost the claim on him Serise would tell us not to attempt to steal. We'd just watch it die for the ToD, say congrats to the LS that got it and go on about our day. I've never camped fafnir, but from what i've been told by the people i know that do cashell is pretty level headed if he loses the claim. That leaves Lucifar as the only one who results to MPK if he loses a claim. Seems a little odd to me.

Personally i cheer the NA's who have taken control on other servers, ones who have said that they won't be pushed around by the JP's. I've fucking had it up to here with lucifar's bullshit, all the [diseased][country][leave] shit that tells every NA that even comes near him. I have no doubt in my mind, and i'm sure alot of people who were with us feel the same way, that lucifar would have MPKed us even if we had "legitimately" claimed Aspidoche. And the GM favoritism of the JP's pisses me off to now end. I think it's about fucking time for somebody to stand up to this pompus, self important asshole. I agree with svina that it's extremely sad how far behind the NA players are on quetz. It's long overdue for us to stand up to these guys who think they are lords of the game. We've tried negotiation and for the most part it has worked with most people. But when words don't work it's time to resort to something else. It's time for bloody-fucking revolution. And if nobody else is gonna do it, i guess it will have to be us. Lucifar fucked with the wrong NA's today, and he's going to get what he's had coming for far to long. If not now, when? INNW.
 
Uzor, report that GM to SE, they shuld hve acted on it ASAP, if they didnt, thats favouritism, and shuldnt be allowed, thats what mkes the game monopolized, the GMs doign nothin if a JP abusers the TOA, but if a NA does, it, say bye bye to your acnt, i say report the gm for being a dirty lil ass fuck who loves to suck jp cock.... DOWN WITH RACIST FAVOURITING GMS! W00T
 
Sorry if this is something obvious I'm overlooking or something....but why do/would people stall an HNM in the first place? Rather...what do they mean by stalling...having the claim and doing nothing? If so, I repeat my first question - why stall to begin with? o_o;
 
Nasya, My post was written after you wrote your very first responce. Go back and look it has no questions just a direct flame. As for the "Take it between the legs comment" nope not directed straight at you, are you this way ? Yes, but you are one of many hundreds that way. You don't have to be female to take it between the legs, mabey I should have just said "raped", "Dissed", "pwnt" etc.. as to be more non sexist sounding, if thats how you took it. As for "eye for an eye tooth for a tooth" being moral, yea it's a personal choice but it is one of those where who is to say if it's right or wrong or immoral? It's a thing of religion kinda I guess, so I'll leave it alone as I don't believe in religion as being a good thing. And to finish, yes, you were the only negative responder to this (at the time of this present post) and if even not you got rude with it which made you stand out. However, I don't see anyone else being negative...Mabey I can't read and comprehend @_@

Yes, I understand you didn't have all the info backing the incident so it seemed proper to HAHAHA us but thats where my advice comes from. Just bc Uzor started this thread doesn't mean he'll give all the info. So you do put yourself on a limb anytime you are not in the middle of something or have all the details and you go off and flame. Admit it, you can't tell me that you didn't come here looking to start a fight or something..It is obvious.

HNMs spawn 21-24 after death hrs as you may know. So its gonna be either during JP prime time or NA prime time. Say it pops around 4 am for JPs. They claim the NM, and just keep it there until a time a time so that the 21-24 hr range happens in Jp primetime next time.

Atleast thats what Ive been told x.x

And Lucifar is a racist asshole. That's pretty clear. I've heard about this from someone who was there and what he did was in fact wrong. No matter how you look at it, it was wrong. Sadly the GMs do nothing about it and it just makes the game that much hard for all of us NAs that try to get things done. Personally I don't bother with camping any of the big 3 NMs that have been controlled by the same JP linkshells for quite a while now. It's a waste of my time to sit there for 3 hours to watch the mob popped either A.) already claimed or B.) to get MPKd because a NA shell got claim.

Not all JPs are this way and quite a few of them are very nice people and will help you out in whatever way you can. But in every batch there are always a few bad apples. And Lucifar is the most rotten of all.

SE should have forseen this during their development of FFXI and given seperate servers to NA and JP in order to keep conflicts down to a minimum. But they didn't and us NAs have to suffer for it. Go figure. :roll:
 
It's true Laur... but there'll be some who want to turn that around and those who take it between the legs and go home.

A memorable quote Lucifar once said during the first camp where it was just me getting a TOD. "The world is changeable by your power."... even with his lacking english I think he fails to see that there may be other trying to do just that, with him in mind as the changeable element.

So yeah, this is no longer a matter of right or wrong, its about changing some things that need to be changed on the server for NA and making some progress. At this point I don't see anymore reason for stupid LS quarrels over people calling someone a naught word, or because you think someone is cheating. There are 3 truly considerable "large" HNM LS on quetz. Maybe it's time we set up such a counter alliance? Start a revolution? I'm down. I like kickin up some dirt ;o... all in all I'm just fed up with this shit.
