Steve McNair- Dead

I wonder how many people will die within a week now ><.

Daaaamn =( he used to be one of my favorite quarterbacks, back when he was in his prime with the titans. That dude had some crazy long distance precision back then, I remember seeing plenty of absolutely jawdropping passes from him. He always seemed like a cool guy to.

that superbowl he was in was heartbreaking. sooo close ; ;
 
Man I cannot believe this. This guy was one of the gutsiest players ever...I remember hearing stories of how he would get shots in his back during games and shit just so he could play through the pain. Always seemed like one of those really good guys that represented the NFL very well. He was old in football years...but jeese, way way too young. He just retired last year...man, so terrible.

Worst summer ever? I told my brother to stop liking Kobe Bryant and whatever other celebrities and artists he adores, cause first his favorite artist then his favorite Quarterback...I blame him.
 
McNair was one of the real good guys of the NFL too. Not one that you would expect to be shot to death. Truly sad.

So he was cheating on his wife with the woman that was shot? Any news on if the homicide was hired? Sounds like something either a disgruntled wife or relative of the wife would set up.

Police spoke to the woman's nephew and he said that she bought a gun recently but didn't think she had any intentions of killing McNair. Apparently, McNair was going to divorce his wife and Sahel Kazemi (the woman found dead) was going to sell her furniture and move in with McNair. Police say they are almost sure it was Sahel Kazemi who shot McNair but her nephew says she had no motive. This is getting a bit interesting.
 
I have one of his Titans jerseys, one that he actually wore during a game. One of my most prized sports possessions.

Really sucks, was my favorite QB in the NFL for his entire career.

Wait... so the mistress and him were going to move in together but the police say she shot him? What, he decided not to divorce his wife afterall and she pulled the trigger on herself?

There is nothing that says he changed his mind or anything so I dunno. Sounds like that could possibly be it though.

But associate Mike Mu, who has worked with McNair's charitable association for years, said McNair's wife, Mechelle McNair, "didn't know who this girl is." No records of divorce proceedings have surfaced.

I'm thinking she was just a fling, to only be dating a few months and to think he's going to leave his wife of 12 years when they have kids together.
 
Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned, is all I gotta say. Sucks she went this road, but then again, she is partially at fault for dating a married man with kids. Women like that tend to lose in the end )=

Yeah, they were in the final stages of a divorce. McNair was already spending a lot of time with this girl, and many people knew about it. It just so happens, it appears he might have possibly been cheating on his girlfriend with another girl.

His wife said that they weren't getting a divorce and there is no record of it.

His wife had never heard of the girl and he was only with her for about 6 months apparently. Anyone who sells off their furniture because they "think" that the married guy they are seeing will want them to move in, is a little unstable in the head.
