why I not surprise you still don't see it. There huge huge monomaniac thing you you not getting. Uli stones is a battle we as a community can win. Food, kotes other things like that we can't do anything about (except maybe kick some Square enix arse.. what i can dream) Uli stones can be solved with one very Simple thing. DON'T BUY FROM BAZAARS!! Go to the source, find groups that you know sell stones(if you can) and buy it from them directly. It a win win situation. You get you stone, rmt don't get there money from you. I been saying this entire thread that you can't compare any other item in game to that of uli stone because either A) it a item that people use, and when done resale, or B) is a item in which come from so many source that it impossible to know who you buying from.
Here the kicker though you not even trying to avoid rmt, that what make you hypocrite. we may not be able to beat rmt, but we can at least make it sting.
A battle we can win, what the fuck are you on? If they can't sell the stones, they'll just pop byakko and sell all the drops or keep the rare/ex shit for themselves while still making money off the money drops. They'll just be walking around in haidates rather than legit players who'd put them to good use. You completely ignore every argument that shows what an idiot you are so you can spout off your "we can win if we all hold hands and don't buy" bullshit.

The only thing you've done is try to turn this into an argument of scale. You don't support RMT, because you don't give them enough money; that's all you've been trying to say for the last 30 pages. That's like saying gil buying doesn't support RMT until they buy X amount of gil.

They don't want easy money, as I mentioned before. Its useless to "overcamp" things, so doing the "easy money" stuff with 100 people would result in less of a profit then splitting them up. So gilsellers in sky will never really end unless the demand for a any items that drop in sky goes away. Which, quite honestly, it never will... heh

I often draw paralels with other companies in real-life (since gil sellers are a real-life company behind the computers). In this case I'll compare it to cloth stores, since my family owns one. When you restock your storage, you don't concentrate on the things that sell easy for much money. While yes, you buy more of those, you don't ignore everything else. Buying 1000 of the same thing that sells easy will mean you have too much of it in stock, resulting in your not selling everything. Instead, you buy less of it, and also order things that don't sell as well, but still sell at a steady pace. This way you get an income from several different things, thus resulting in a larger profit over-all. Selling gil works the exact same way.

they wont do byrakko it take 3x the people (for them), good chance they will wipe and good chance they will get no cash items at all. (and dont give me that BS about byrakko seal.)

edit: So in short they will need more resources to get less money then what they get now
but you right they will stay, because you have idiots like bajaratt who buy from them.

Again, this is wrong. As I mentioned earlier, the new breed of gilseller has no reason to leave any camp ever. That's why they are levelling up the hundreds and hundreds of gibberish named characters right now, so that they can continue to leave the same people at the same camps while the new characters head to new camps. This isn't rocket science, Ulli will be camped by gilsellers until they are banned, that's all there is to it.

I think you're deep into the realm of moral relativity now.

And LoL at the whole MPK thing. I wonder who started the rumor that 5 people had access to Halflife's account anyway. At least when I talk about stuff I'm not sure about I don't throw it out there in public.

If that's your fancy way of saying "I think you're 100% correct because I too have common sense and pattern recognition" then good for you. BTW, how's the whole "check out Batallia for gilseller bazaars selling Autumnstones so we don't buy from them" thing coming along?

yes that is very true and there is a fix to this, you could do an upgrade for the auction house

and by that I mean change it from auctioning to selling, instead of biding you could just buy from the lowest or highest item you wish i believe this would be an excellent solution what are your opinions on the subject

It's more of a - "if this justifies this, what else does it justify?" statements. As in, if you believe buying from RMT is justified because the server in dominated by RMT, then you believe that morals are relative and then any actions have to be judged based upon precident set.

I really don't know what you're talking about, but why would I care to check? I have no qualms about RMT. When I played Asheron's Call, people in my monarchy were constantly selling their accounts and getting better ones on ebay. I was the odd one for playing the same character the whole time. Never considered it my business, they were good friends and that's all that mattered to me.

I'm not "justifying" anything. I'm telling you what's happening right now. I don't want it to happen, and if I could stop it I would. But I can't, and until S-E starts getting rid of this gibberish characters I'm warning people to start expecting them to show up at their Dragon's Aerys and Seas pretty soon since they keep making more. I'm not justifying buying from RMT either, but if things continue the way they are going it'll reach the point where anything you buy is going to have RMT stench to it and anyone who doesn't camp 100% of their items will be called RMT supporters.

For someone who "doesn't care", you sure seem to have a vested interest in this topic. Firestreak? More like Firestarter. Saying you don't care and participating the way you're participating is like saying you're a vegetarian and then hunting wild boars in your spare time.

I like the way WoW's AH work. FFXI's AH should be similar =/ This auction house system sucks.

I hunt with a Vegetarian. He doesn't eat meat for health reasons. Anyone who's a vegetarian for animal rights reasons needs a good shooting.

The only problem with this is it takes out the element of risk. I like to be able to put something up for 1 gil when I'm feeling risky and just want to sell it fast. I like being able to catch other people doing it. I like being able to slip in at 97 gil less than the average AH sale and have my item sell first because others list for the exact price.

And let's not forget. While obviously our community and most end-game linkshells are going to know who is and isn't a gilseller, all the Dicks and Janes out there who just play for fun will still buy from the Larges anyway because they don't know any better.
