Actually the timing based on 2 hours, not the 2 hours being significant concept, is actually not even mentioned on the discussion page on wiki garvin.

What he posted was different, and a possible breakthrough.

Where in your feeble mind does it not click? The part where it was to seperate AV talk from PW? or the part it was to seperate AV talk from PW?

... Uh what heat? since when the FUCK was I on fire?... Actually I thought I defended my cause quite well, because well... I did get the AV talk out of PW and ya... I had my own thoery... Had it destroyed infront of me and ... actually rebuilt my own... Ya... I sure as hell couldn't take the heat... Thanks for posting something stupid for once.

Whatever was posted on Wiki doesn't mean shit. On BG there has been 3 discussion threads about AV 1 with 38 pages another with 45 pages and another with 63. There have probally been about 10 threads in all amounting to over 200 pages combined. Can the people who were posting in the AV thread on our forums honestly tell me they have read through all 200 pages on BG and say that they didn't say something that has already been brought up.

Actually I have read the 63 page and the 45 page one, I am unable to locate the 38 page one. Yes... when I want to research something, I take everything handed to me serious and reviewd by me. What I know about AV between these threads, the videos, and 1st hand experience has lead me to somewhere that is not posted on BG, wiki, alla, KI, or anywhere else.

If you have the link to the 38 pg one, i'll be more then happy to read it... Although as most have said... These discussions go on repeatedly and tested and quoted on multiple forums, so i wouldnt expect anything I dont know about AV already.

This one might have a lot of older ideas because it was started a year ago.

So many people have done that to me. I think it's hilarious. I rate down something retarded they say then they just find some random post I made and rate it down with some comment like "you suck" or "look I can rate down too" like it's somehow going to hurt me. People take the rating system here way too seriously. Half the topics created about it are completely asinine, complaining about 1 or 2 ratedowns as "harassment" when they probably gave that same person 1 or 2 ratedowns, too.

Words and dots on the internets won't hurt you. When you apply for a job the interviewer isn't going to say "Well sir, we were going to hire you but then we found out you were rated down twice on Quetzalcoatl Daily News. Thank you for your time".

And to tristam, it appears the problem comes from a differentiation in our opinions on the definition of "troll" so I understand now.

You feel trolling is someone rating you do not on the post but because you are you.

I feel something similar, but more of a "homes in on them in particular" IE if they saw my name in the latest post, they'd go in to see it so they could rate me down.


So yeah, by your definition, I said something along the lines of "what are you, a troll? lulz"

I've gotten a few rate downs from a certain person quite often the posts arent even worth a red dot just its that time of the month and time to spread the negative reading once again. I used to respond to such actions but now I dont even give them the satisfaction of a reaction.

Just ignore these rate downs, in the grand scheme of things they dont really matter and most times the person doing it to you is just trying to get a reaction.

Happened to me last week actually. It was more about the fact a whole fucking flame was based on me, but still. You get the point...
 
Although it might not be qcdn, it's been reported that some employers will go to your myspace facebook etc and see what kind of person you really are so posting that drunken party pic might not always be the best thing to do.
