Came out today on PSN, I think XBLA tomorrow. Need a little confirmation about this game, because I question it at $15. At $10 I'd probably just buy it right away without questioning.

Also this game Brain Challenge came out I'm curious about. Had never heard of it.

Pixeljunk Eden is temporarily down to $5... which is a freaking amazing steal for what I think is probably the best downloadable title so far this gen.(If not tied with Pixeljunk Monsters.)

Real fun game and one of the better SFs in my opinion. I'd pay $15 for it if i didn't already have almost every 2D fighter on a few dreamcast discs.

I'd get SF2HD today.... BUT it's not on the EU PSN yet. Oh well, I can wait a little while longer =)

I figure you've played SF2 already, I would hope so at least. Same game with better graphics, no more, no less. So just judge from your previous like or dislike of the classic. The only thing it really adds is online multiplayer.

I think SF2 was the only good SF game and I really don't like SF so I wont be gettin' it. The only rehashed fightn' game I'd pay a dime for is either of the two Killer Instinct games and I'd pay a $100 easily for that.

Most balanced SF ever, Online lag is nonexistant

CCCcccccooombooo Brreaaaaker!!!

Well, I ended up buying it and pretty much regret it already.

None of my real life friends want to play it, and they all consider Street Fighter 2 no longer important. Online is lag free but I haven't played SF2 in like 12 years and am not doing that great. I think this is more of a $10 game than a $15, personally. With Pixeljunk Eden on the PSN store right now for $5 the value difference is mind boggling.

bump.

Europe finally has been given a reason why SSFIITHDR hasn't been released on PSN yet. From what I've heard there have been a few bugs and glitches (apparently with the online) with the game and SCEE have refused to release the game until it's fixed. So far Capcom have submitted the game twice, they are hoping third time's the charm when they submit it again in the next three weeks.

Greatest reason this game is shite:

Akuma is of course watered down. It's not his air fireball that is simply crippled (with an annoying bounce effect) but the amount of damage he takes from one hit is a joke. I am so disappointed.

It's partly that, but partly that we're older and know various characters and moves and how to counter Akuma.
But yes, he's not as good as he is in say, Alpha 3.

And I personally love this game.

Apparently you haven't made it to Akuma in Arcade mode yet. Yes, while Akuma has been watered down to make him more balanced, the classic Akuma is still as deadly as ever. It must have taken me 25 tries to take him down.
