Sub Job party restrictions damnit!!

You can never have two pets. Why the fuck does that idea keep coming up. DRG, BST, and SMN combinations don't work. What the hell makes you think putting PUP in to the mix will?

Actually, with Shield Mastery and Auto Refresh, /PLD is a decent sub now for RDM.

Finally, the PS2 players will see just why and what the PC players were laughing at so hard when PS2 release happened. It has come full circle. Enjoy.

Or how the JP players felt about the first NA players (PC) right?

Besides, if it came down to a fistfight, PS2 players would totally fuck you computer geeks up. =)

SA + Sturmwind will kick the shit out of any weapon for war until rampage.

Seconded.

The things that should never be done in exp parties:

PLD/anything other than WAR (same goes for NIN)
DD/any mage class and vice-versa (the only exception being DRG)
Anything/PLD, BST, or DRG.
On the subject of nin never subbing anything but war.. nin/rng is actually quite good as a dd although noone ever gives nin a chance to use it. When i was tanking at level 28 I spammed shuriken often enough that every once in a while I realized that voke wasnt even neccesary to hold hate most of the fight. Hell i went entire fights without anything other than the initial voke while keeping the monster on me just from hate accumulated from shurikens.
The DPs from shurikens is about double the dps of anything at that level so the whole sub only /war is kinda off and is one of the only cases where the OP was actually semi right about well.... anything. Good luck finding a nin that spams shurikens like they were his/her main weapon though...

also /blm is another sub useful for nin due to magic atk bonus traits ect. I've never used it before but I've always heard anyone that has used it say the damage was extremely high from spamming the ninjutsu wheel. This sub isnt reccomended until 51 when you can use the ele staves to boost damage by 10-15% depending on HQ or NQ.
Even if these subs are your favorite and you don't like subbing war get over it and use the sub they want because when a person invites a Ninja they expect a tank. It's the same with any other job.

There is a standard you are to meet and will need to be able to meet in order to effectively kill the mosters you are suppossed to for exp. If one person drags down exp they can cut a party that should be making 10k an hour into a party making 3k an hour. If the situation was the other way around and you realized a person was using a stupid subjob such as drg/bst you would kick their ass out too or not invite them.

Never said otherwise. Round 3 for the JP, Round 2 for NA PC, Round 1 for PS2 players. Always a memorable experience when the game gets flooded with individualists who care more about playing their own way than helping their party do its best.

Play how you want to, I'll play how I want to, and let's see who gets more invites more often.

And, I heard /DRG is a decent sub for their Accuracy Bonus. But I also heard that it was only a 2% Accuracy Bonus for IT mobs... I offer it as an available sub for my WAR, but I don't think I would sub it if I was asked to.

/DRG is probably one the best subs for a melee from 20-30. Unless you are tanking /WAR is crap. With /DRG you get Jump, and Attack Bonus. Both which will increase your damage output. Even /DRK is a good from 20-30, cause you get an Attack Bonus from that too.

Believe it or not, there can be good WHM tanks. WHM/NIN can be amazing. Ill discuss this in a seperate flame.

Because Paladins and Ninjas make better tanks.

I'm semi-staticing with a MNK/DRG. Bastard hits too much and gets too much aggro ._.;

Your failure to mention your own kind (PC players) bleeds favortism or PC player elitism though. If your gonna make fun of us, at least make fun of you.

drk/blm is ok lol ask baj he had /blm rdy just incase MB your own SC is great (you got to open SC lol)

I can see this guys point, I think it's quite cool to sub different things, you can a small bonus from each subjob you sub so it can be useful in varying situations. If your party lacks support, some of the players can sub a Support job to help out, it kinda makes the game more interesting and complex, instead of the straight forward way players force it to be. Summoners have plenty of MP so it's quite easy for them to summon out carbuncle to get dirty in the action and still give there party cures and buffs when needed, and varying tricks from your Avatars. I've even seen a DRK/BRD in an exp party, and it kinda inspired me, he was up there digging in with the melee (note he was JP) giving them the gimped one song per buff and occuasionally running over to the mages, but it's something, and helps in a situation (oh noes, no brd/rdm seeking disbanding party ones~"!) I like to keep an open mind on this sort of stuff. But the main point is really, sure, sub anything you like, but just don't be expecting a party invite, because chances are, alot of players wont share your open mindedness, try creating your own partys and explaining to the partys what you are doing. Eventually they'll accept although some may be a complete ignorant asshole and disband, let them! But perhaps eventually, people will learn your roles and ways and accept you into there everyday activity... =)
