I won't go into details, but I'm another victim that has let a game, A GAME, take control and ruin a lot of aspects of their lives. I can't do it anymore, it's taken me this long to realize that this should be a hobby at best and not a lifestyle. So with that in mind, this is my formal good-bye. Needless to say that I will not follow-up on the Aion thread either, if anybody was reading that. Without further ado, the thank yous (and I won't remember everybody):
Zephayra - You crazy, thanks for all the times you kept me company in my fits of insomnia, I enjoyed talking with you and even through all the drama I was somehow still able to come out either neutral or on your side. Gallant Surcoat ftw! Stay out of trouble while I'm gone
Tanshui - Even though I never got into a personal conversation with you, besides maybe about how you got a house, I still felt like you were a great friend. I guess it's safe to say that what goes around comes around and your kindness was returned 10-fold for the kindness I showed when you first began your journey. You have the skill and determination enough for both us to keep the Seagull Phratrie honor alive lol.
Darsha - Hey girl, lemme pee in yo butt!
Ravensmage - You introduced me to some new great friends all because I showed you the way through Den of Rancor. Fair trade-off I believe... ok so maybe you got shafted (huh huh shaft) but still, good times man. Watch out for those nazis!
Bender - GTA FREE MODE!! GOGO ROCKET LAUNCHER!! You're a cool dude, as long as you get those chewy dicks out of your mouth so I can understand what you're saying! Haha, just playin, cya round bro.
Taisa - Are you sure you're not a girl?
Justinp - Are you sure Taisa isn't a girl? Statics blow.
Kayleen - Really just met you, but I'm sure the hilarity is scheduled to further ensue.
Isollde - Do I even need to say the B word? I mean the minute I typed "Isollde" you should've figured all I was going to type was... BEWBS!!!!
Palides - You're still a fat bitch.
Almane (if you're on here) - What can I say? Hard times, easy times, bad times, good times.. been through it all. It's nice to know I always had someone to talk to. Stay in touch!
Kratius (not sure he's on here) - Good times hangin out when I was still a baby to the game. Take care out there man.
All the people from TricksandSticks - You guys were amazing, one of the first big linkshells I ever associated with and even though I went a different direction I still thank all of you for the help and support.
All the people of Machina - You guys are nothing short of crazy, great linkshell, couldn't have asked for a better blessing than to meet with all of you.
I'll lurk here for the next week probably just to correct if I missed anybody and say my good-byes on a more personal basis. I wish you all the best and don't let the same thing happen to yourselves, remember at the end of the day you won't get $5 million dollars for your achievements, nobody will thank you for your contributions to vana'diel societies unless it's scripted, and FFXI IS JUST A GAME.
P.S. In case anybody was wondering, yes, I did buy gil.
