Suggestion: Sticky thread updated per 3/6/9/12 months of game's situation

Seems to be every other week/day that there's someone asking "how's the game", that's thinking of coming back. Not pointing fingers at anyone.

We need a sticky with something like:

"Thinking of coming back? Read this."

Then the topic inside will have details of the game's current situation, on a 3 or 6 or 9 or 12 (yearly) basis. Detailing any changes/additions/etc.

It'll be a summary, not something incredibly detailed that it'll bore readers.

If I make one, with contributions from other forum members, can it be stickied?
 
Maybe a sticky that would link you to threads about major version update information? Since that only thing that is really game changing.
 
I considered that, but I think a returning player isn't likely going to read through it all, so instead we can summarise it in a post instead, i.e.:

General - 2-handed weapons got an increase buff, now an option
DRK - Recieved Absorb-TP, Absorb-Acc, Dread Spikes
General - New merits added, Tier 2 merits

and so on. Of course everything will be categorised and neatly posted.
 
Go for it, I'm getting a little bored of all them threads popping up.

A sticky with Version Update discussions and possibly the OP's idea wouldn't be bad ideas at all.
 
I'm happy to write it.

But I just need input from the active players as a whole to help me sumarise/shape up these statements.

I'm not aiming to steer people in the wrong direction, but I'm not perfect in knowledge in this game =p

Lemme write something, and then I'll post it in the general discussion area, if someone can sticky it and then we'll work on it to keep it clean/tidy.

Should only take a few suggestions/posts to tidy it up. Then I'll make it prettier via formatting. I gave it a basic look for now.

At the rate that they actually add stuff, you might as well just make it a yearly thing.

Yeh, I don't think I'll be making much updates to it after a I post what I think should be sufficient information. But say there's a minor tweak here and there, I'll make note of it, otherwise it's as it goes.
