Suikoden III Main character?

Who did you end up making your main character in Suikoden III?

I went with Geddoe. I recently restarted the game though, might go with Hugo this time.

According to Konami, Hugo is the Flame Champion. Any further Suikoden games that feature him (and they do plan on wrapping all the loose storylines in a final game) as the True Fire Rune holder. So, that's who I picked.

I've been sad without Yuber in the last 2 games

God, they better come out with Suikoden VI, after going back to the roots(imo) with V, they need too, and pweeze bring back Pesmerga and Yuber?
(although they(Konami) said they were saving the final confrontation for these 2 for the last Suikoden game, whenever that may be)

I played through the game with each of em as the main hero. <_< Hugo's definitely the real Flame Champion successor though. Even if Konami hadn't been all official with it it was still pretty obvious.

I haven't sat down and played any Suikoden in sooooo long. I'm about to find my old save files and prance around with Augustine in my party. Gotta love the narcissists and their theme song!

I didn't like Hugo, or Geddoe really. I prefered Chris out of the three.

I only played one I think it was 4 and never completed it. I could not get into the game for some reason. Are the others only in japan that have to be imported or are they out in America?

I, III, and V shouldn't be too hard to get. II is a gem in America. Expect to pay around $70 to get it.

It might be now. I picked it up a couple of years ago for $12 at a used game store. D:

S1 used to be easier to find (atleast in my area) all the EB's and Gamestops stopped taking in PS games though, I'm not sure where else you'd be able to find it (besides Ebay). S2 is indeed a gem, good luck finding that in stores. S3 was for PS2, not quite rare, but not exactly easy to find either from what I've seen. S5 came out in 2006, shouldn't be that hard to find either.

Oh, and there's also Suikoden Tactics, that was a sequel to S4. IMO it wasn't bad...but it wasn't great either.

I completed it with Geddoe and Chris the 2 times I did it. I just couldn't get interrested in another kiddy main character.

Hmm...I realized my dads at the mall so I just called him to grab me a Suikoden Tactics. I've been meaning to get that for a while, but I forgot.

I played all three xD.. Started with Geddoe, then Chris and finally that Hugo (heh). There is a manga on Suikoden III where it depicts Hugo as the main character. (I believe the author has contacted the company for clarification etc) ^^b
