Really, Liefe. Any job should be able to recover hp/mp while thier pet does shit. Not just BST.

God, I wish I could remember where that mob weaknesses chart was.
Next time you're exping off crabs/crawlers/flies, watch the Slashing and Blunt DDs' damage on them - they'll see the exact same reduction given the said crabs/beetles compared to other mobs.
If you really want to test weakness/resistance, by the way, there's actually a fairly easy test you can do.
Find a too weak mob whose level is low enough that you absolutely overwhelm both its VIT and Defense.
Physical damage caps at around 200, period. Absolute cap with a small variance based on the uppermost tier of PDIF. No questions there. Your average damage per hit will be 200.
On a mob that resists your damage type fully - for example, Piercing on a Skeleton - you should do about 100 damage (-50%). On a mob weak to your damage type - for example, piercing on a Mandragora or just about any Flying mob - you should do about 300 damage (+50%).
If I whack a Crab in Valkurm Dunes or La Theine Plateau - the lowest level crabs I can think of at the moment - how much damage do you think I'll do?
Edit: Oh, and you may be a 50 RNG but I'm a 75 DRG, and my damage classification is identical to yours - piercing.
Zaltana said:did you even read what i said? or were you to busy thinking about what u wanted to type. i already said that our DMG class is identicle. but our dmg class is lacking against armored mobs in this game. and fighting too weak mobs will not give accurate comparisons cause you're far stronger then it is. of course you're gonna hurt the hell out of it.
Mishaela said:I'd feel totally stupid to argue with Tag, but wouldn't damage cap be closer to your STR/base damage calculated, not some forced cap? SE tends to be as fair as they can with mob/player damage formulas, and my pet Tracker Antlion can hit Flesh Eaters for 400-450s. And I'm pretty sure I've seen Skels of ANY level will take well over 100 damage with enough STR/attack.
Maybe I'm wrong though. *shrug*

There is really a ton of misinfo that's popped up in the last page or so, that's just the last piece I picked out.
But yeah..what does summoner sucking have to do with DRG or RNG again? (The answer is nothing.) Mods should lock the thread or delete posts derailing this crap or something.. (including this one I'm writing :| )
