SuperNatural Season 4

Aww geez that means I have to get my high gain antenna hooked up on my roof by September 18th then.

Reminder bump, Supernatural season 4 premieres in 2 weeks and 1 day at 8 cst/9est on The CW.

Pretty awesome episode, past 3 seasons have dealt with one side of the fence, now we get to see what's on the other side, and I must say I love the actor who plays Castiel, Misha Collins, and he has that character down pat.

My only gripe is the new Ruby, I just don't like her compared to Katie Cassidy.

I'm pleased with what was shown in the premier. I've always wanted Sam to explore his "psychic" powers. I wonder what the angel wants Dean to do, Kill Sam?

I don't think killing Sam is there Angels intention. They will be introducing another Angel this season as well. Uriel is still to come. I think God wants Dean to help Sam win the war against the demons. I don't know much about the guy playing Castiel but he seems to be ok so far.

I am not impressed with the new Ruby yet. Ruby was kicked out of that other body though.

Spoiler:
The main theme this season is Lilith and her fear of Sam. She is going to try to release something stronger then her. As powerful as her and Azazel are and the fact they are bringing in Angels makes me think this super powered thing is going to be the devil.

Spoiler:
I so called it on releasing Lucifer. I really want to know what is so special about Dean that God wants him in this fight. I also want to know why it appears Castiel is in my opinion scared of Sam. He showed himself when Bobby was around but he won't show himself in front of Sam. I get the feeling Dean is going to have to save his brother from both sides. I think Momma Winchester was dabbling in the Demonic dick and that is how we have Sam.

No, thats not right, if you think back to the first season, Sam, along with all the other Psychic freaks that Azazel brought with him, was given his powers thru a ritual that he performed (i.e. killing someone they dearly loved). Releasing Lucifer sounds right, but at the same time.......something about this "angel" Castiel doesnt sit right with me. Yeah i dont like the new Ruby either.

It was awesome seeing Meg again, definitely my favorite female character in the series, Nikki Aycox just rocks, both as a demon and a vengeful spirit.

Good episode too, I figured they'd be heading that route, can't wait for Thursday!

I would be less worried about Castiel. I would be worried about the other Angel being introduced this season Uriel. Castiel is known to be more obedient to God while Uriel has disdain for humans.

edit: There is more then just this ritual or Sam and Dean's mom's friend wouldn't have been wiped out too.

No because each of Azazels "soldiers" had someone they loved killed in front of them. As for Castiel, its usually the obedient ones that turn bad in the end *COUGHLUCIFERCOUGH*

I understand all the kids with powers had someone killed in front of them. I wouldn't exactly say Sam had someone he loved killed in front of him. He was far too young to know the feeling love yet. Sam was so young the most he had was a need for him Mom. That theory still doesn't explain why all of Sam's mom's friends were wiped out. There is way more to this then we know.

Castiel and Lucifer are far far different. You really should read some of the Bible to know more about him. Lucifer wanted to take over God's throne. Castiel is the one who warned Noah of the flood.

LOL I read the bible quite a bit, but Lucifer was too ambitious and made his ideas of takin over known which screwed him in the end. As for Sam, ummmm remember his GF was killed, hell in the same way as his mother was too. I would say that was what did it. You DO make a good point though about their mom's friends getting taken down too.......guess we will just have to wait and see LOL.

I believe there is far more to the story behind Sam and his mothers death. Even Ruby made reference to it and seemed shocked that papa Winchester never mentioned the story behind their mothers death to his boys. Also why he started to probe into his mothers past and her friends after the meeting with Ruby.

Awesome, awesome episode last night.

Spoiler:
So Mary Winchester was the Hunter/Huntress, John Winchester was the one who was pulled into the whole thing.

Now we know how Mary Winchester knew the YED, and why she said sorry to Sam in "Home"

And I loved that fucking look Dean gave Castiel when he said "Stop Sam, or we will", I haven't been this in awe of an episode for a long long time

I felt the casting was great too, Grandpa and Grandma Winchester (And Samuel, Deanna lol)

Young Mary and John were good too.

Favorite comedic line was when Dean said he was going to hell, again for saying his Mom was hot

:nyam: over last nights episode

Spoiler:
Yea I was the same way last night Tiael. My mouth just kept dropping like woah mommy was the hunter. I knew from season one though that she knew who the yellow eyed demon was, idk how just a hunch by the way she reacted when she seen John sitting in the chair downstairs and busted in the room saying "it's you" I did miss her telling Sam sorry though in that episode.

The whole episode was fantastic though even down to how Deans car came to be :P The actors they used were good though. The comment made me laugh pretty bad too from Dean about his mom and him going back to hell again. I love his lines and the way he delivers them. Probably one of my all time faves was when they were in prison and (cant think of his name) said he shot the sheriff and Dean without skipping a beat says at least you didnt kill the deputy.

It does make me look forward to the rest of the season though. Esp seeing Sam enter the car with Ruby since she got spooked about the angels being there. Figured she would be gone for a bit and to have her back again helping Sam so soon makes you wonder. idk I cant wait until next week already.

Wow, the series is getting better and better, altho I am a bit afraid that they are leading the series to a close with this storyline..........

got this from wiki, "Series creator Eric Kripke has stated that the series' storyline is planned out for five seasons, and that he hopes to end it there on a high note"

Spoiler:
from that I assume this season will end with Sam and Dean being on apposing sides and next season playing that out. These are only my baseless speculations tho

Sounds about right, we are on what, season four?

yeah season 4... I was depressed when I read that... I wanted it to go on longer... I mean fine finish this big story arc... and do a season or two of independent episodes... I'd be happy with that.
