PS3 Surprise Sony Sequel Announcement Thursday

All that build up just for SOCOM 4, figured it'd be something disappointing that wasn't worth the wait.

I know, it's like DUUUDE a FPS, finally something new and not something long awaited but somehow ignored for many years!

I doubt this was the surprise they had in mind for us, and if it is well I was let down lol. Anyway, I'll just wait till midnight and see if it really is SOCOM4, I'm hopeing for an RPG from the PS1-early PS2 era like many of you guys.

God damn fucking shooters man. ENOUGH WITH THE SHOOTERS.

TPS not FPS. And I was so looking forward to a SOCOM game on next gen consoles and Confrontation was such a let down. I know I'm not the only person on this forum that plays FFXI for no other reason than it came for free with the PS2 HDD that I bought for SOCOM 2. As in, if it weren't for SOCOM I wouldn't have spent years of my life playing FFXI. I'm pretty sure Icewolf is the same but I could be wrong. SOCOM was like the first real online console shooter before Halo and CoD and all that other stuff, so atleast to me I don't see it as just another shooter. And back to Zipper is huge, Slant Six fuckin sucked.

Meh, thats the best reaction I can muster up for this surprise.

I think the people of the world would be more surprised and happy had Zipper not released the abomination known as MAG. The trailer wasn't even that impressive. When you announce a surprise is commin' and you give just that, you're gonna cause people to go, "Wait, wut? That's it?" and piss people off.

That bein' said, I'm game, one last time, for SOCOM to not suck.

I only played socom 2 abit and I'm not sure I wana go back
