Ok for anyone that knows my record on the swift belt it is not the regular one. Until tonight i was 0-14. So lately Mulletjunky has been duoing swift belt pops with Unmaligned trying to get my last few attempts to get it.
Well tonight we decided that we were going to go and try and pop two of them so we had Unmaligned and Mullet there to kill and Javir and truegrave there to pop 2 hume and also try to reset mullet and unmaligned's 2hrs so we could give it two attempts tonight (yes i was getting kinda desperate at this point)
Well We get down there and prep for the pop and get the to the hume area when disaster... Unmaligned DC'd from the game with a POL error. Well mullet tabs over to the other screen since he was dual boxing and states on vent it looks like he didnt pay his bill this month and its official that we cannot get him back on until morning.
So we go through a debate on vent on whether or not we should try it and it was decided why not if we lose XP w/e and its not that hard to get a codex. Even though Mullet stated in the picture below that he was 90% sure that it would not work we decided to pop it anyways.
So we get going throught the fight and the first 60% goes exactly as expected and it killed the blubber eyes that mullet had 2hrd with a random deal to see if we could get reward back after it was just used but it did not work so at 40 % i start tanking as thf/nin with ninja roll and a couple other ones that were useless to me. At this time mullet pulls out courie carrie and starts to build hate so after 3 shadows a perfect dodge and 3 more shadows the crab saves me. Then we start bouncing hate like a perfect co-tank doing our best to whittle it away. Somehow we managed to get it down and this happened...
Basically we managed to kill it with a 50 bst, a 50 thf, a weaponless 50 corsair and a lvl 8 corsair.
And now i am 1 for 15. TBH i am shocked that we actually beat it, even more shocked that it actually dropped and eternally grateful to Mulletjunky, Truegrave, and Javir for doing it with me.
