Depends what job i am playing. As a DD class, everything is <t> because i will be [lock-on] the enemy anyways. If im maging, then i use <bt> for things like debuffs i have to stick every fight, (slow dia para) while i keep the main spells (cure regen nuke) to <t> for easy targetting. As a Tank i keep only one ability to <bt> which is provoke. I have a second <stnpc> provoke for adds. Sometimes you just cant seem to target the pullers mob and its important to provoke it off him asap.

Of course with brd everything is <me>

/em agrees with Mistaya.

That's how I did it. Now I play a Warrior and really, I stay locked on, unless I have to Tank 2 Mobs, in which case I have to Switch Targets every Swing anyways, to keep the Damage flowing.

As a rdm its not that i'm lazy or anything but I'm a macro castor with my enfeebs therefore my two macros that are set up with certain enfeebs are set up with <bt>. Also have my Drain,Aspir, Dispel set up for <bt> just so I don't hit some other button and cast it on accident (I've actually casted Warp instead of Dispel once.).Then I have sleep and an elemental seal + sleep all set for <t>. Thats the only thing I use <bt> and <t> for really cause I haven't lvl'd much on my other jobs lately.
