I knew it was possible, I had this idea to turn the chocobo into like a 1 person dune buggy that was like powered by crystals(Napoleon Dynamite).

Idk, but when I changed my chocobo, it always freezes me while dismounting ; ;

too bad u cant get caught lol, its a Dat swap and its client side only, It benefits you in no ways and no one else but you can even see it.
Hes not moving any faster in that video than his normal walk speed, cause all he did was switch out his Taru dat with one that was a taru fused to a cycle!
 
Shields for wheels, a maul for the headlight, a shell shield for the reat wheel cover. Haha, clever!
 
and torches and mahogony staffs and tons of other things, the more you look at the bike the more you see!

Two things. Any modification of the game in any manner is considered illegal. That includes windowor and dat editing. It's actually in the user's manual if you take a moment to read it. The second thing is he cannot be banned anyways as SE or GMs rather have made it clear that they will not use third party information to ban anyone. That means videos or pictures given to them are not sufficient evidence to ban someone and the only means to prove that person has broken the ToS is to have a GM directly see it. Since dat editing is client side (so is windower), it's impossible to prove unless a person directly states it in /say, /shout or /tell directly to a GM and even then, I think only the latter is considered sufficient.

Edit: I want to see him get on a Chocobo.

i know the ToS lol, i never once said it was legal to do it. I just said u cant get caught with dats cause its un traceable. every game has rules against modifying client software lol. i took the time to read all that about three years ago!
 
That is...awesome and random.

(Ah, and I've heard of someone who directly asked a GM what the punishment for .dat editing was, and [at least that GM] said that there was like...nothing they can do about it.)
 
and how in gods name is SE gonna know if you switch dats? and further more why the hell should they care? Its intirely Client side and it only changes the way that the game is portrayed for your computer and your computer only..

Furthermore GMs dont care if you change dats. know why... becasue it doesnt hurt anyone. Even if they can tell if you do there is no reason to bann a account

Not that they can catch you unless you call a GM and say "Hay, I'm changing my .dat fiels, ban0rs me prz LOL"
 
Getting banned for .dat modding is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, unless you're doing something like deleting darter dat models...

or switching NM data files from dee (o kote) to like a dragon so u know where it pops....
