Tattoo where?!

lol...

The artist seems pretty certain she asked for 56 too.

It doesn't look THAT bad. Don't know why she said she can't go out and stuff.

I don't know dude. I've fallen asleep during a tat for about 45 minutes. It can be very physically exhausting. And that tat wouldn't have taken too much longer than an hour.

I mean, if she's looking to cash out on this.. well there could have been a better way to go about it than to get tats covering half your face. So that doesn't really make sense.

If she actually DID want them and is looking to cash out, she'll have to be a pretty good actress and it's still her word against the tattoo artists. Considering the language barrier I have no idea how this could pan out.

And if she were on drugs, well, here at least it's against the law to be tattooed while under the influence. Whether it be alcohol or drugs.

Then again, she could have wanted them and then berated so badly by her father and boyfriend she made this shit up.

But falling asleep is definitely a possibility.

This is bizarre to say the very least. What sucks is, she's got stars tattooed across her face, and they're not even great ones.

I just read some of the comments and I had to laugh. Some people saying how terribly painful it is, it CAN be, it depends on the person A, and where you're being tattooed B.

The whole gun being close to your ear, in my opinion the buzzing of the gun is actually very relaxing and mesmerizing. I know I'm not the only person who feels that way too, I have many many many friends covered that have nodded off while being tatted just from the sound of the gun.

Dood. I doubt you would fall asleep while getting 56 tattoos on your face. If you passed out from the pain maybe, but not "fall asleep" like she claimed to. I think she thought it was a good idea until her boyfriend and father saw it, then to save face (pardon the pun) decided that she "fell asleep".

I sat through a 4 hour tattoo session, I really doubt that she fell asleep, unless she was drunk or on drugs.

I agree with Mirewen. Her father and boyfriend didn't like it and she decided to sue.

Maybe. Could very well be just like that, she freaked because her dad and bf freaked and yeah was saving face lol. I can see that, especially at 18. I just don't see how it makes sense though, why get such a substantial tattoo if you're not going to back it up. Most people who get tattoos (especially 'crazy tats') are in the mind set that this is THEIR body and they'll do what they want with it regardless of what anyone thinks, I haven't met too many 'meek' types that get fucking crazy tats. That's why I'm considering all possibilities.

Honestly no one can say whether she could have fallen asleep. I kid you not when I say getting a tattoo can be an exhausting experience. (Mire) I can't remember if you have any. Honestly though, not having one on my face, I can't say what it would feel like with the nerves or muscles and tissue for that matter. I do know I did fall asleep, not pass out, during a 3 hour session on one of the most painful places to get tattooed and was out for about 45 minutes. I also think it's important to mention that after I woke up and sat through about 20 or so more minutes the entire area I had been getting tattooed went numb and I hardly felt a thing during the rest of the experience. But that's my experience, and I don't find tattoos all that painful.

I also had gotten tattooed about 2 hours after waking up, so I wasn't over tired or anything.

** and actually guys, my falling asleep has almost been my 'claim to fame' so to speak since I got that one. I was very proud I shit you not that I crashed during my VERY FIRST tattoo session.

I agree with Mirewen. Her father and boyfriend didn't like it and she decided to sue.

This IS very very likely, I just don't understand.

Its not that they hurt a lot, its just an annoying type of pain. Kinda like if you scratch your arm in the same spot for too long, feels like that for me lol I just don't see how anyone could sleep through that lol

Yeah that how I describe the painful parts. Sometimes though there's just not much in the way of painful parts. Not for everyone.

Now that I think of it, the exhaustion is probably mostly due to the anxiety, which would only make sense. High anxiety can beat out a lot of people and make them sleep under even the strangest circumstances. If it were her first maybe she was all stressed and anxious and it caused her to pass out. Not literally, but fall asleep, heavily. 'Passing out' to me is drug or alcohol induced y'know.

No tats no piercings. For reasons I will not disclose, I was not 'allowed' to get a tattoo. Now that I can, I really don't see the point.

Would three of those tiny stars really have taken an hour though? Not all three would be filled in either I'd assume, since not all of the 56 are, so that's even less time.

But anyway, yes. It's all about getting yelled at by her father and boyfriend. "The trouble all started when she went home and her father and boyfriend threw a fit" and not "The trouble all started when she was handed a mirror to take a look at the tattoos" is a pretty fucking obvious tell.

but if she were asleep..... and it's kinda hard to tell what and where they're working on when you can't see so that could have given her the time.

and if the artist misunderstood how many would he have stopped??

Skaw I did say none of it made any sense lol.

Going on that theory, poor little innocent girl wants tattoos on her face.. just not so many. The way she would be positioned would more than likely be laying down very much like she were readying herself for a nights sleep. She would have closed her eyes having some man resting his arm and wrists across her face and hearing the buzzing, yeah I can seriously see her falling asleep. I'm just helping to paint a picture here for some who may not be very familiar with the environments.

Hmm...

I never caught that. The journalist made it quite obvious.

I STILL don't get it lol. Why get such an extreme tattoo (which imo has always been a lifestyle choice as minor or major as you want) if you've not got the mind set that no matter what anyone thinks, father, brother, sister, mother, teachers, bosses, priests etc.. if you're not willing to back up your decisions.

Stupid teens that get tattoos against their parents will typically go for stupid insignificant flash work they can usually hide well. This is just soooooooo bizarre.

Typically people who take pride in their work, their body, their decisions get ridicuous or well thought out extreme tats because they.are.proud.

She could have paniced too. If you've ever been in the position where you've gotten a terrible haircut but was soo mortified to even say anything wanting nothing but to disappear and go wash your hair, maybe shave your head, it's similar in a sense.

Yea while you're at the tattoo parlor they encourage you to look at the final product. It happened with all 3 of my tattoos. They brought a mirror to me and let me see them.

And this is the reason that my friend who is a tattoo artist has a rule about never on the face. I'm gonna side with that artist on this one even if she just wanted 3 stars on her face if she didn't stop him after the first... idk 50 i think she kinda deserves it. Also i highly doubt that he free handed them where was the argument when he did the layout.

That's a rancid tattoo lol. There is clearly fault on her part, she should of spoke out, this isn't a haircut (hair grows again) it's a lot more serious.

:glare:

at that point it's a tad bit late... as if speaking out while mortified would have changed anything anyway lol.

Long and Short of this story is .. it just doesn't make sense!

I just saw this story. I kind of think the tats look pretty cool for a girl.

I kind of lawl at the fact that she looks so ugly and miserable in the first picture, which is obviously without makeup and yet the other pictures she looks almost happy and actually looks kind of cute (she has makeup on, and is all dressed up to take photos).

She obviously freaked at her dad's and boyfriends reactions. The tattoo artist really shouldn't have to pay jack shit, but he's being a pretty cool dude by offering to pay for even half of the removal fee.

another thing is...don't the put like a transfer on before starting the actual tattoo? sorta like a guideline? I don't think he would have positioned them the way he did otherwise...si yeah I agree her other half and senior didn't like it so she is now taking action.

Not all the time, depends on the artist (confidence etc) and the job itself. Stars... meh
