First two episodes aired this week, what do you guys think?

I read somewhere that this series takes place after T2, and ignores T3. I'm kinda glad, because besides the ending, T3 kinda sucked ass.

What do you think of the new protector terminator? I loved her in Firefly, but I'm not a huge fan of her as a terminator so far. I like the John and Sarah casting, though.

I think the show will be ok as long as they don't make John and Cameron fall in love. Unless she's an advanced terminator that can feel emotions, but not advanced enough to regenerate skin, like the T-1000.

Side note: The T-1000 was such a badass.

What do you guys think so far? Any predictions?

I saw the commercial and thought to myself...."Needs more governator" ;|

yeah, I was pretty miffed when they had Cameron (girl terminator) say "Come with me if you want to live." Just didn't feel right. Not robotic or bad ass enough.

You are right about the T3 sucking part Pasquale. The choice of rewriting the future going off fron T2 and up was a good one for the series. The Terminatress is way too robotic. She needs to downscale her machine interpretation and make it look less psycho(that's exactly how she looks when she wants to look like a robot).

The kid from HEROES does a great job as John (Reese) Connor. The music is great because it makes you feel like you are watching the movies. =D

I watched the first one (2nd is recorded, just haven't watched it yet). They got around the lack of T3 well. The show just seems to be missing something. I get the impression (both from the date it aired and the dates that are displayed in the show) that this show was going to be released in the fall but got canned and they are bringing it out to replace the WGA strike delayed 24.

I watched the first episode but had no intention of watching the one monday night after seeing Sunday's ep. It just seemed to me they were trying too hard, and after seeing the ads every commercial of every football game for the last month, I was already semi-sick of the show.

one word... No

I liked it, they've got a hot terminator; and the mom/son relationship is pretty close to T2. There's some decent jokes and action. I'm curious how the show is going to play out though; it'll get boring real fast if every episode is "a new terminator shows up and they have to stop it!" or if they do crappy school-life only episodes. I'm hopeful that they won't screw it up though.

If they go "the Terminator of the Week" angle, it will really get boring real fast. The Terminatress is hot, I'm thinking John is gonna end up humping that machine before the 1st season is over. I'm eager to see today's episode. ^^

The show has promise. I am not convinced of its greatness but it is an okay start.

The show may just become another Incredible Hulk or Fugative, with Sarah and kid avoiding menace from the future each week and aiding poor townsfolk across small-town americal to boot. Maybe throw in an annoying newspaper reporter who can uncover everything uness they keep on the move too.

Well it seems the "reporter" is going to be the federal agent. He will eventually become an ally.

I thought it was pretty good tonight. The enemy terminator is such a bad ass.

I'm glad they've created the mystery of "who's making skynet now" for them to use as the underlying plot of the series. It'll help keep the series from getting repetitive from week to week.

This is exactly what has me hooked to this series right now. It changes everything we knew and Dyson's sacrifice at the end of T2. D=

I have one problem with this show. In the start when John didn't know about the girl terminator who protected him, she acted completely normal. Now, in the new school in the future, she is a fucking moron. She acts all robotic and shit. It is annoying.

They had no interaction until the day before the shit went down. She was probably being all weird, but he wouldn't have noticed because he didn't know her.

What do you think? Is he stuck in the fallout shelter, or was he hiding under the truck? I think he was under the truck.

This is one very intelligent observation. I wonder why the directors don't take notice...
