Thank you DynamisEpitome!

Hmm... its interesting to see that in the face of pure facts, people will still try and divert the attention in another direction or try to support an opposing opinion simply because of a grudge they hold against a person.

Anyways, i've never had issues resolving conflicts with other shells in the past and have more than once changed our schedule to accomodate other shells even though our shell has less room to "play" with when arranging our runs. I'll keep in mind the same courtesy we've been shown when our schedule one day conflicts with something they would like to resolve.

Unless I misunderstood your terrible posting Jyakotsu, I understood your post to be claiming that "we" (RoR) had stated that DynamisEpitome only started up a month ago, which no one said.

I did say that our shell had been around longer than theirs though, and it has.

The issue of "Hey guys, can you give up 30 minutes of northalnds drops just because we couldn't check zone availibility when we made our shedule? You know, because we're more important than you."

That issue? Its kind of what you get when you post your shedule a week before the month in question. Epitomie managed to fit in all the runs they wanted without conflict with anyone else, till you posted your own shedule trying to get into one of the zones they had chosen. RoR is the only shell they're conflicting with, and that's only because RoR posted AFTER them.

RoR isn't the party in the right here.

A) Zone availability WAS checked
B) we tried to resolve the issue
C) they didn't / could care less

So that means next time if i post a schedule some hours/minutes before linkshell X, i have right of way even if i know linkshell Y is after us. there's no need for me to be courteous and work things out for an established shell who was running in Z time slot a good year before we got there.

check.

I find the bolded humorous. I simply posted fact, in which members of your shell believe as a farce. I don't understand how any one of my posts have any sort of "grudge" in them. If anything I just listed facts in each of my posts. Honestly, your posting is of more negative connotation towards me than mine of you. If your post above had no correlation towards my posting, then I will gladly apologize... However, I highly doubt it.

Your shell may have been around longer, which it has(and was what I wrote in the first place). It doesn't matter, they posted their schedule BEFORE YOU.

Well if you look at the DE thread it seems like they tried to work something out but one shell in the end was just like hay guise f00k j00 :\

This is all I'm saying. You can at least be courteous, the issue is decency here. Not responding to us, and just shutting off communication and giving us an almost like a "hey f00k j00" is not cool.

Then leaving it as is, and then pushing us back 45 minutes on top of that is just rude.

Name a shell that is always on time. Hell.. I know for a fact LolD, and Limitless were frequently NOT on time(even though each shell tried to be) Shit happens and people are late. As long as you post within guidelines of when you can/cannot post your dates... Why would there be a problem?

Our schedule was posted before DynamisEpitome.

Except.... That it wasn't. You may have MADE the shedule before, had it all worked out on paper, or in a word document, or in a post on the fourms, but it was not posted to the Dynamis Sheduling section until AFTER Epitome. Timestamps don't lie. If you'd posteed it earlier, and they then posted after you, you'd have a case. But you don't have one right now, so its pretty much a moot point. Unless some other information comes forward, like Isolde posting that you'd PM'd him your shedule a few days before you posted it to the fourms, then maybe you'd have something. Until then, you're just comming off as someone whining that they didn't get what they wanted.

Also, the "We only run once a week thus we deserve the zone more than you." Is BS. You run once a week because of choice, so you can deal with the results of that on your own.

All I see is you guys harping on a point that, for me, I've made clear I was mistaken because I usually don't post the schedules to QCDN.

However, you keep avoiding the courteousness and decency issue. Jyak bypassed that whole thing in my X Y Z example, and it was pointed out by Grandphoenix as well.

Those Schedules Are guidelines, they are there for people to be courteous and work out time slots. Nothing says just because they post there that they have a right into the dynamis zone. Last I checked, whoever entered with a hour glass has right of way regardless of who's on scheduled on this forum. We post them up to work things out, not to say F You and your linkshell, we're not even going to bother communicating.

If you're going to use the whole who's first, who did this first, then maybe Dynamis Epitome needs to move and choose a different time slot then since we posted our Dynamis run schedules a good while before they even started. We had our schedule up and running before them. Same principles apply right?

Not really, but Zer obviously believes that, otherwise lying about when the shedule was posted is an even worse idea.

And yes, if someone shedule's a zone, they have the right to it. If another shell posts later, and also desires the zone, it is up to this second shell to offer a comprimise, such as trading zones so that Shell A still gets the zones it wants, but maybe not on the exact same days.

RoR's argument was that Epitome should simply give them the zone, because they only run once a week and that obviously is the only reason anyone should need. RoR then tried to tell them to leave the zone a half hour earlier, once they were already in the zone, so that they could enter on time.
Not only is that suggestion rude, because thats a full 30 minutes of northlands drops that they wanted them to give up, it was probably a moot point, since even if the whole group exits, the zone is still "occupied" until the time runs out. So if they'd already grabbed the extensions (which most shells have already done before the halfway point of a zone) them leaving early would mean nothing, since RoR couldn't enter till the time was up anyways.

There is no case for RoR right now. It's in their best intrests to drop the issue, since all it's doing now is making them look bad, especially since all that resulted from it was entering a little later, and taught them a lesson of waiting till the last moment to post a shedule.

The post you quoted was directed at Zer, but whatever, I'll focus on you now.

Yes they're a guideline, and ultimatly there's nothing preventing a shell from simply saying fuck it, and jacking a zone. But that's never, ever turned out good for a shell in the history of the Dynamis Sheduling board, so I don't reccomend it.

So now your shell owns the right to the timeslot, just because you're an older linkshell? Welcome to the real world buddy. Sorry, can't camp Fafnir because our shell has been doing it for over a year.

Stupid argument is Stupid, don't make it again. Yes, it wasn't exactly the nicest thing of them to not even talk to you about the zone conflict, but your argument seems to be that it was your right to the zone, and that they stole it from you when a more accurate descripion would be you tried to steal the zone from them. Yes, stealing it with words and agreements, but they had booked it first, and you tried to get it from them.

Name a shell that is always on time.

Lamebus. Oh, you probably meant a Dynamis shell. Of course, I'm making a Dynamis shell soon too and you can be assured that it'll start on-time. ;)

Last i checked, Faf isn't in a zone that you enter via an hourglass. It's not the same thing.
You don't use an hour glass to enter and hunt Faf. So don't call my argument stupid.
The more accurate statement would be they are infringing our time slot.

I see it all the time in the new linkshell recruitments. A new Dynamis pops up, people tell them another linkshell is already in that time slot, to either move it, or work with the other linkshell. How is this any different? Maybe they should either move their time slot, or try better to work with us?

And regardless of all this, as far as I'm concerned, you guys can go on and on and on about it now. But the minute the scheduling guidelines dictate we can post, we'll be sure to have our schedule up. And any conflicts will simply be resolved by other shells changing their time who post after us, including entries before us that will need to be out by 9 PM PST. Otherwise it just means you guys are all just hypocritical.

No need to to have any more people infringe on our time

you guys all take care, see you around in game.

Did you entirely miss what Mara said? Or are you trying to be as dense as your shell is looking right now? Remember being rude and inconsiderate can lead to other shells giving you the middle finger. They all start 3 hours before you. They could just take your zones if you aren't accommodating remember that.

I do really feel sorry for how badly you missed most of my points, but at least at the end of it you kind of got what I was saying.

And you know what? If you had posted your shedule ahead of Epitome, and they then posted after you with a conflicting shedule, and you had tried nicely to resolve the issue with them but simply got told to screw off, or were ignore, I can guarentee this thread would have gone an entirely different direction. Like I said before, the facts of the situation clearly showed that Epitome was doing nothing wrong, and that RoR was simply tring to get what they wanted regardless.

Different facts, different result.

Isn't that what I've been saying the whole time about decency? did you miss what i said? they're already giving us the middle finger by not communicating or bothering to work things out. And according to you guys they posted first so they're in the right.

Taking our zone 3 hours ahead of us again and again and again would point to exactly what I'm saying, they are not communicating nor being decent. And then you guys would all be hypocritical. Because it's ok for them not to communicate and be a-holes because they posted first. And for us to pick our zone first and be "in the right" to do so would be wrong since "they are 3 hours ahead of us" and can do what they want.

I just read the Dynamis posts, there was no resolution made(which is what was discussed earlier). You posted second, by you saying the things you are saying(I.E Not wanting to bend or help out anyone ever) people are more inclined to NEVER help your shell. Think about what you are saying here. DynamisEpitome never said anything wrong... They overlapped, this isn't a first time occurance in dynamis history ya know...

*no resolution made between DE dynamis lead, and Zerayla.

Just wanted to correct you here, our shell has been running for more than 2 years. Their shell started up after ours, and selected their time.
No, the shell has been around since 2006, its just undergone some leadership changes. It also changed names when the main group decided to name the shell after our main ls.
I did say that our shell had been around longer than theirs though, and it has.
No
