the prices on materials that went up, i was not the one to raise them. If i see a trend that moves the price up consistently to a certain point i will buy them at that point.
wings were 17-18k for a while and i bought them. then someone put them up to 19k, they stayed at 19k even with new supply coming in so i payed 19k, then they go up to 20, i wait people buying at 20k, i start buying at 20k.
when i started with philosophers they were at 50k, i bought at 50k.
someone jacks them between 50-55k because they werent showing up that often. after seeing this is where the price was stable at, those are the prices i paid for them.
My woodworking is at 60, it took along time to get it there. it got there in days of farming my ass off in pashhow to get my snipers(kind of ironic i got /tell'd by multiple people). i start to wonder why people buy the cuttings.
I start gardening. I'm growing sapplings, learn what sapplings are for, start growing ores(kind of excellerated that) took about 2 months of sapplings to start on ores. that makes me about 250-600k per mule.
i did alchemy to 52 in about 3 days. didnt spend more than 600-700k. i used cubswoo's guide on alla, made some adjustments, took smithing to 10, already had WW incorparated that into it.
I have 4 mules and meeze. one mule has cooking to 64, followed another guide, not an expensive craft. alchemy is not an expensive craft. I actually made alot of profit making bolt heads to bolts.
I haven't walked around with less than a million gil in i dont know how long. mostly stay around 1.5-2.5 mil. my mules generaly have about 500k. they do most of my sales obviously, and i replenish my character when needed.
when i started ranger i had about 3 mil on me. my alchemy and ww were both at 60 by then, i wasnt sure which way i wanted to go yet.
so i'm banging rng out, making my own holy bolt heads and bolts. lots of hq on bolts, saving tons, selling excess bolts as i go, and making more.
i read up on what is coming for ww and alchemy. ww has a lot of expensive synths that wont sell for shit. alchemy has a lot of consumables that sell fairly well, i choose alchemy.

next levels sucked for me, i was at 81 for about a month. would ocassionaly buy materials to skill, (broken rods mostly) but wasnt satisfied with the route.
i start reading more into the days of the week to synth now that i'm not making profit, i start to concern myself with that. make some rods then find a nice synth on katana that caps at 91. the synth is 6k per synth, sells to npc for 1k, 5k loss.
you would be hard pressed to find any craft this level have a synth withh these good numbers.
about this time i started making 500k a synth, i dont think you know how, so i won't tell you. it's very easy, but takes a little investment.

Little about me, i'm 26 years old, i'm retired. I was a salesman, cars, retail, managed a store for one of the nations best electronics retailer. thats right, the whole store at 26, not just the some shitty department, the whole fucking thing.
walk into one of these stores you see the manager is like 40 years old, been with the company for years and all that other shit, i stepped in 2 years with the company took myself a store.
I'm a hustler, thats what i do, sales is in my blood, and i fiind a way to make a profit in everything i do. that is why i picked alchemy over woodworking, because i could make a profit most of the way up to 100.
even when i was losing money, the money from being able to have high alchemy kicked in and i kept my comfortable living.
when i started to lvl alchemy from 81-100 i sold e-bow, thats 9 mil. i bought it at 7.5 mil, used it for a little over amonth made 1.5 mil. my leveling partner was not able to lvl as much so i needed something to do.
bought a hauby+1, snipers, then a few of the other NQ gear for my drk. sitting on like 3 mil from that sale, plus having been idle with rng my normal money making schemes were bringing back to a normal level. i had close to 6 mil.
just these last two days i've made 1.5 mil, and made an investment that could profit me another 1 mil, bringing my total to 4 mil.
come on man, i aint no chump, i ball, i've been balling since i was 16, it is what i do.
i've taught people how i ball, given them pointers and they ball now too.
one of them makes more gil than i do, granted she works harder at it than i do.
if you are pissed that instead of losing 30k your losing 35k a synth on pro -ether cry me a river, i got better shit to put on ah, and fill my mules inventory than some crap i'm already losing my ass on.
it is clear you never ran a business, when you have a loss, you get rid of it. when you have a gain, you exploit it to its full potential.
don't ever come at me with that gil buyer bullshit because i'm better than you at something.
