I would like to add, a screenshot can prove an aweful lot. it could show YOU jacking up the AH price like was claimed in the topics creation. If a screenshot of that had been posted, it would have given the topic some crdibility.

As a completely unbiased observer please allow me to edit your presentation of the situation. Also to cover my ass I haven't read this thread in a couple of days.
Person #1: "Grrr! So frustrated! Fuck the FFXI economy! Must lash out at someone for completely petty reasons.
Person #1: "Fuck person #2, they raised a synth price and that means that they're purposefully out to get me, discourteous, and probably gil buyer... not that I care if anybody buys gil but if you buy gil you're worthless and God hates you. Continued bitching. etc;"
Person #2: "Hi you don't know what the fuck you're talking about and here is why; reason A reason B reason C. Don't insinuate that I buy gil just because I happen to be good at working this game's economy."
My take: Frustrations with the economy are very understandable. In my spare time I like to farm beehive chips and silk thread while chatting with my LS and friends. This is actually quite a lucrative downtime activity. Also over a lot of time I have acquired a substantial amount of gil doing this alone. I do this primarily to sate my desire for good food while in exp pt. As a drk I have found one of the best foods for me to be sole sushi. Recently the price per stack of sushi rose 12k (2 stacks of chips, half a stack of silk pending price) just because some bastard fisherman jacked one of the ingredients.
I do not check price history and obsess over it, then come to the flameboard and make a completely unsubstantiated claim about said pricejacker being a dickhole, and then insinuate that they are a gil buyer. It's called a fluid economy, and it changes with something called supply and demand. Not to be harsh but I would appreciate it if people didn't come in here just to cry when things did not go their way.
Also, in regards to those who are flaming meeze; did you not notice the thread title? It's not like he made a thread entitled "I am not a Gilbuyer" and started posting all this crap. Somebody made a bitchy, petty, unsubstantiated and dare I say bogus claim about him and he is in here defending himself.

What the fuck do you want the man to do? Come in here and say "Hi I fraps every ten seconds just in case some asshole wants to call me a gilbuyer on QCDN. Do witnesses in court ever have pictures? It's all about doubt, reason, sensibility. Meeze aint givin details, but he's not being sketchy either. He came in here because someone shit on his name. He said a number of reasonable things that I found to be logically sound. Usually people get reigned in by webs of lies, and that hasn't happened yet.

You're goddamn right it does. Just cause he figured out some pieces of an equation and generated a comfortable amount of gil does not mean you get to flame him with impunity.
Under the logic of several people posting there are maybe 5 people in all of Quetz that can prove that they do not buy gil. Am I the only one that thinks that shit just doesn't fly?
