Actually, Nintendo is the only one doing something new. Sony and Microsoft are just making stuff look better(not a new idea), while leaving gameplay exactly the same. Nintendo is adding the possibility of new gameplay elements with the features on the controller. All Microsoft and Sony have ever done is copy off the successes in Nintendo's new ideas, and that's hardly "something new."Elemmire said:Carth said:I haven't seen any of these jokes yet, thanks for your worthwhile contribution.Rones said:hilarious pictures
how about you nintendo fanboy jackasses realize that Nintendo isn't doing anything new.. just better technology with the controller idea.. kthxbai!
I'm also going to say that while I am a big Nintendo fan(you'd just flipantly toss the word fanboy at me), I'm also a Sony fan and I will be getting both systems. I'm not expecting the same experience on both systems, like with the 360 and PS3, since there would be no point in getting both if they offered the same kind of material. When I want some super-violent FPS game with jaw dropping graphics, I'll turn to PS3 or my computer. When I want something simpler and just as fun, and that I can play in front of my younger relatives, or if I want to play a great game from a previous system, I'll go Revolution.
Nintendo has historically made consoles and games with multiplayer in mind. On every single top 10 list I've ever seen that covered the top games at parties, Gamecube had at least half the list, and had some of the top games(Smash Brothers Melee was usually #1). Short of RPG's(mainly due to their length to complete), my Gamecube gets far more playtime than my PS2, simply because there are far more and far better games to play with friends than on the other consoles. All of those multiplayer games even have fun single player modes to enjoy, so I still play them even when I'm alone.
There are excellent games on all 3 systems, and anyone who doesn't know/admit that is either lying or purposely ignorant. There is NOTHING wrong with being a Nintendo fan, just like there is nothing wrong with being a Sony or Microsoft fan. Until you can show me how enjoying Nintendo games makes me somehow worse of a person than enjoying Sony/Microsoft games, please stop with spouting "Nintendo Fanboy" like it's some kind of curse. This isn't just to Elemmire, but to everyone who just judges fans of a company based on their bias towards another company. I'm getting tired of hearing people call others Nintendo Fanboys like their a leper or something.
