I rented Fullmetal Alchemist: (something about an angel) last night. The game came out forever ago, but I never got around to trying it bafore last night.
It reminded me a lot of Dirge of Cerberus, for the sole reason that the game itself, while not very good, is fun for what it is: a action-romp w/ an awesome lead character.
At first I thought the transmutation system was pretty cool, then it got repetitive, then I figured out you could transmute things more than once to make them better, then it got cool again.
The boss' are way easy. The only one I had trouble with so far was that scorpion/crab thing you had to flip over. I couldn't figure out how to flip him over, and after a while I just got mad and started to wail on his face (which, ironically, was how you flip him over.)
Anybody else try this game? I heard there was another one out/being made, is that true? If so, is it similar to this one, or a different playstyle altogether?
(Also, I know it's not an RPG, but I didn't know what section this would go in.)
