The Bourne Demo is simply amazing

Should be in the multiplat section.

Also, how was this demo good at all?

What kind of game is it?

Just played the Demo and it was very fun I liked it a lot and I think I may purchase/rent the game when it comes out.

I had huge doubts considerin' I can't recall a single movie gone game I've liked. However, the Bourne flicks are some of my favorites. I played the demo and it looks to be an exception to the rule for me. I'll probably buy it if nothin' more than to have my complete collection of everythin' Bourne.

It's not a movie game... It's a book game...

Is it based on the books, or the steaming piles(only in comparison to the actual books) that are the movies? I'd fucking love to play through the real plot of the Bourne series.

As an avid lover of the books but not so much the movies, they don't give you enough information in the demo to determine which it is based on.

My money is on the movie though since our demo DVD at my store has a picture of Matt Damon on it.

I found it entirely terrible.
Run --- > fight. Similar hand to hand combat as GTA. ---> Random button press ---> cutscene, run. rinse repeat.

Quicktime Events still haven't found a good game to be in since the Dreamcast.

It's based off the movie(Bourne never went to the embassy in the book), so my interest just dropped to almost zero. Combat is kinda fun, but very annoying when the enemy just turtles the entire fucking time. Takedowns are cool.

All I heard was that they decided NOT to use Matt Damon for voice and model because when they announced the making of the game, he made some dumb public comment that may have embarrassed them in some way. That and the fact that they didn't make a Conspiracy movie (yet....) makes me think they'll base it strongly on the book, and take a few liberties with the locations.

There's very little chance of that being the case, really. The title doesn't mean much, they could easily be talking about the entire movie trilogy. I'll keep an eye on it, but for right now I'm not interested in the game at all; they ruined my favorite book so bad it might as well have been done by Uwe Boll, I'm far from hopeful that they'll fix it in the game.

The demo bored me quite a bit, and I didn't like the hand to hand combat. Also thought that the timed button presses required too fast reactions, especially when you don't know they're coming.

Shenmue 2 came out of the Xbox in America. It should work with 360 backwards compatibility.
