The Dynamis Show

The difference between a Dynamis shell and an HNM shell is that Dynamis happens twice a week at set times, plus or minus 2 hours in each direction for the most part. HNM shells may require 4-7 days of camping at flexible hours which usually include late nights and being available for most/all of a 3 hour window each time. I don't think Dynamis/HNM shell comparisons are valid.

But then again I don't really have any interest in Dynamis or endgame/HNMs so maybe my opinion isn't all that valid, I don't know. To me, only a few items that come out of endgame would come close to justifying the time spent making my bones in an established shell to 'earn' them and the ones that are part of the risk/reward equasion (BB, Ridill basically) are such that even if I feel 1-2 years of seniority in a shell is a valid amount of time to wait I don't really trust a shell to stay active long enough for me to hit that status.

Then there's staring your own shell but... yeah.

A lot of my post also spoke on doing events with your social shell. Besides camping HNM, there is no big difference with most level 75 socials.

My social has done rostrums, shen, pantie raids, etc etc, planning on doing some HNMS?(new level 80+ NMs), swift belts, dobson flies, and a variety of other pop NMs. My sky shell did those exact same things, along with doing sky twice a week. End game shells do those exact same things, along with camping HNMs when they can.

End-game shells are socials that camp HNM. Not some slave driven conglomurate out to rule the world. That is why most shells want you in their shell all the time, because they want the social atmosphere. It isn't that fun to see some random person you see 6 hours a week getting an item that is cool. That includes dynamis. When I don't know someone, it is hard to actually be happy for them, there is a certain level gladness, but not a feeling like when my friend i met as a level 10 galka whm/war getting his nobles.

It was a cool thing that the social I am in was closely linked to an end-game shell, because I could enjoy the company of everyone I knew in both places. It wasn't random folks thrown together that meet up at 6pm on thursdays and sundays to do gods.

Oh I just noticed your last reply was 5 pages ago so you probably won't reply to mine either since like the rest of the retards around here you have always liked to dodge any further flaming against when you when you are made too look like a god damn retard.

Like usual.

Enjoy your day crybaby, I seriously hope you are a female IRL because only a gay man would act as emo as you. Either way you give head IRL so that's cool i guess.

So you'd rather go off to another shell were you will possiblily have to wait another oh lets say 11 months re-establish your attendence and primary lots,

Or, Be with people who you've known a while those who respect you. (Can't speak for everyone just me)

And roll the dice and take your chance at a shot of AF2 which probably won't take another 11 months.

Just an idea Lavi

They said they were going to add new members and there is no way a new recruit is just going to pass up the chance on a highly sought after piece for someone they don't even know. As soon as the shell broke, there was no chance in hell I could get it without spending another 11 months. Besides that, I know at least a few people who have no qualms about lotting on it against me and wouldn't consider passing (2 in this thread alone).

Jesus Christ...you're the very definition of the pot calling the kettle black. This whole damn thread is about you crying because you DIDN'T get YOUR piece of gear. You'd rather have a pitty party then get off your ass and help make Encore into something worthwhile that would be mutally beneficial to ALL members. If I were former members of TDS I'd be saying "Don't let the door hit you in the ass!".

The only difference is I worked for where I was. Why can't people seem to see that? I spent eleven months to get there only to lose it because people didn't feel like waiting on their turn to lot. It's not like changing shells improves drop rates, it just changes who gets to lot and when. Does it matter that no RDM AF drops this run? Or does it matter that the person waiting for 7 months gets to lot today versus the guy who's been waiting 3 months?

My experience in SeaShell taught me that Lavi doesn't believe in burning bridges.

Lavi believes in nuking bridges from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

Funny you should mention a shell, both you and Reya left it before it even broke. It was a huge loss when I left there...

Lavi you are the whiniest fucking He/She on this server and this thread is such a sweet treat to reply to for me. You really are a dumbfucking crybaby.

Btw I still haven't forgot the thread where you whined about two people "stealing" the Shaman's Cloak NM that you died too (lol) because you AS A MAGE forgot echo drops.

Have you?

Stupid whiney bitch hahahahaha

Like all the times you bitched about shitty end game shells? All the times you bitched just to bitch. But since you want to bring up past events, I recall a shitty 70 NIN dieing to an EP mob. I remember a fucking idiot "selling" strider boots and sent them through the AH delivery box. Etc.

Geeze, you keep saying how you spent 11months in TDS, and worked your way up to get what you wanted. I'm sure there were just as many hard-working people as you in that shell.
When dedicated people work for a linkshell, they spend time and effort into it. The leaders and the members have to work together for it. I have to say from a third-person perspective, that it's not all about you.
When the leaders have to get stuff done in RL more often than in the game, when the members are not as excited about the runs anymore...it hurts everyone. Not just you.
Not everything that falls apart can be put back together again. Hence, that is my assumption of TDS.
