The Fix to Inflation & Gil Selling

im glad i didnt just get burned and theres actually ideas floating around. True, buying from npc would be better then just dropping it lol. The only thing im worried about is the new xbox 360 players. They are going to start the game and not have a chance at getting the lvl 1 armor.

Thats not fair to them. SE better have a fix in mind or they are going to loose alot of buisness from xbox.

That my friend, is why you're apart of TheBrotherhood ls ;)
Our purpose is to recruit those new players and help them out. You do a great job of helping out others as it is, just need to get your lvl up a bit more like the rest of us so we can help them with harder quests/missions.

Even if there are some people that are bashing your ideas, the fact that your intentions are to do something about the situation and better it instead of lying on your butt doing nothing shows the kind of person that you are.

I don't have the RL money to go with your idea, but I give you far more credit for actually posting one instead of the people who do nothing but complain about all the inflation etc. :)

i think the best move for SE at this point is to take over the gil selling. it would be best for them and for the player. it wouldnt help much with prices but it would get rid of the pesky gilsellers. they could also sell items which would help with prices cause it would cut down on shortages. idk why se hasnt already done this cause its a easy way to get rid of gilsellers and its free money for them.

and to the op idea im sorry but that is quite possibly the worst idea to fix inflation i have ever heard.

edit: on second thought it might be alittle more complex than free money because if they just created new money to sell that would just make more inflation. so they would prolly still need to buy it from some where. but over all it would still be a good idea

Don't expect new players upon Xbox 360 launch. Expect old players in search of a new look or CPU people wanting to free up their PC.

once again i'm astounded at the ignorance that is so blatantly exposed about virtual economies by the general population of FF. The plain and simple fact is that the game does not produce enough items to cover the ammount of people who need it for whatever. It sure would be nice if there was too much gil then no one would need to buy it.

The fix has nothing to do with gil and everything to do with the lack of items to support the base of players per server. The only thing they'd have to do is pump gathering points and *maybe* add some craftable alternatives to some items/eq. Plain and simple if all items occured more in the game the gil would self-adjust. Unfortunately there's more people interested in whinning about the situation, buying gil, and bending their fellow player over than getting off their collective asses and farming or taking up crafts to fund their needs.
