The LHC comes on 10th September!

Ok it was launched on sept 10 and was suposed to colide on october 21st. ok it got shut down and will be launched in 2 months. November 10 aproximately. Asuming it is correct. 1st coalition will be December 21st 2008, also from that 1st coalition it will take 4 years to hit max power. December 21st, 2012.
 
well you know it has been said that the fabled lost city of Atlantis really existed and the reason it was wiped off the face of the earth was because the people there discovered a technology that could control the weather, causing their doom.
You simply dont fuck with mother nature, she is in control. And its a shame when a group of people decide what they think is best to do in the hunt for knowledge at the risk of all humanity.

"cue predictions that it'll restart on dec 21, 2012."

I guess the paranoid people are already ahead of me.
 
i already thought to myself when i first read this thread..."you know, they are gonna fire it up for a first full test on the 21st of oct. it will end the world there. however, what about 2012? watch, i bet its going to work for many years then they will have a catastrophic failure and it will destroy us all in dec of 2012."
