I said Carpenter's Landing cause you technically -never- have to go there.. every where else is used for something.. quest, mission, job.. CL is .. um.. useless XD

I go oldton movalpalos all the way, INCLUDING newton...
only people there are mostly miners (they aint killing anything) and that 1 notorious monster
and in newton, the only reason togo there is for the rutter, noone ever there (hmm.. gives me an idea for a skillup area)

Also obscure... who even has the maps for those areas???

Newton movalpolos actually has less populace than oldton.
Ranguemont pass has bard and ranger af pieces (possibly others, i dunno).
There are very few things to do in drachenfall and there's hardly ever people there. Drachenfall gets my vote.

I myself have gone to Oldton quite a lot, so I wouldn't say that place. Although Oldton and Newton kind of suck if you're at a lvl where you get aggro. Moblins are in bunches so it's pretty bad linking there, and I've had bad experiences in both Oldton and Newton. I'd have to say the bottom area of North Gustaberg out of that list. I've only ever been down there once to put the clay in the Stone Monument.

In CL you fight a Morbol NM for Cop 3-3, not sure if that place is used for anything else, but I think that place could be used as a possible kazham/Jungles alternate exp spot, but everyone is used to going to Kazham from lvls 25-30.

How about Purgonorgo Isle? Not many go out there unless for a Cop mission or Clamming. Mind you Brenner is there if people even do that anymore. It's a nice little romantic Island though.

How about the top of the mountain in Attohwa Chasm. Went upthere once for that Boneyard Gully item...pain in the ass :nono: Not really a zone but meh...

But on the list you have I'd go with Ranguemont Pass

The base of the Drachenfalls. You can still fish for fish there ON THE BRIDGE up top, and people do. The only thing that exists at Drachen Falls' base are the brass canteen quest, THF AF quest, and the stone for the Crawlers' Nest map quest.

Ranguemont is used by people going to get their Vahzl Telepoint, Strange Apparatus, Ice weather for Summoner job, and Taisaijin.

Cubswoo, you're forgetting that even though theres virtually nothing in Toraimarai Canal, it's still used for Artifact Armors. And while not having any NMs, per se, Girtabs there are the only ones that drop Viking Axes.

It's a part of Ro'Maeve. "Moon" is just the level 70's exp spots behind the moon gates, but Ro'Maeve itself is used in missions, quests, and has NMs. And it's too small to consider Moon a seperate area.

- No worthwhile XP camps, and BST XP was ruined by the despawn patch
- No NM's of note
- Most non-Windurstians (and really, most Windurstians) don't have access to the zone
- Mostly a conduit to Full Moon Fountain and Fenrir

No, it wasn't. Leveled there just fine using Bloodsuckers instead of Dark Aspics. Toraimarai and Bostaunieux Oubliette are still prime BST camps with a simple change in locations and/or pets.

Dangruf Wadi - The only time people really come here for the most is for certain quests... THF AF2 being the top one.

Oldton Movalpolos - Lots of miners here, as well as peopel camping some Bugbear NM.

Carpenter's Landing - People camp Orctrap all the time. Not to mention BSTs level here from time to time.

Outer Horutoto Ruins - BLUs come here to learn Bludgeon, and people on Windy 6-1 or 8-2. Other than that, pretty empty most of the time. XD

Ranguemont Pass - Always people going through here to get to Beaucedine rather than getting a Teleport-Vahzl and walking from there.

The Base of Drachenfall (Absolute Bottom of North Gustaberg) - I see fishers here pretty often on the rare occasion I come here. Also, a THF AF2 mob is here, and so is the Siren's Tear needed to flag BLU (if you get assigned that item instead of one of the others).

Giddeus - People harvest a lot here, as well as farm Yagudo Necklaces for Norg fame. Also, Hoo Mjuu campers are here like 24/7.

Yughott Grotto - Lots of miners here, and some fishers. Also people camping Ashmaker Gotblut.

Ghelsba Outpost - Very common area for people to level in the solo levels.

Fort Ghelsba - Much less common than Outpost, I must admit. Don't often see too many people here.

Gusgen Mines - *Always* plenty of miners here. Also BST levelers, BLUs trying to learn spells, people farming Magicked Skulls for subjob quest/Aht Urhgan access, people doing their RSE... you get the idea.

Ordelle's Caves - Morbolger campers, as well as people doing RSE.

I've never seen people fish at the base of the fall. They always fish up top on the bridge. Also, Sirens tear is along the river up top, not down below.

I've always leveled in Dangruf when I hit level 8ish.

Also for Ghelsba Outpost, theres the level 20 BCNM inside the fence area. People use Fort Ghelsba for Kazham airship pass keys.

I voted Dangruf Wadi... I don't think there's any reason to go there that you can't do elsewhere. Go through there, sure, but not go there. Fort Ghelsba is pretty bad too, but I'm pretty sure more people do BS40/KS99 in Ghelsba than do THF AF2 in Gustaberg.

I've seen people /sitting together (only two at a time) in the room on the left in the Grand Duke's Palace in Ru'Lude Gardens and in one of the 'rooms' at Neptune's Spire in Lower Jeuno. The best part was that the two in the Grand Duke's bedroom were tucked away behind the bed, so I'd almost missed them when I'd basically randomly walked in there. I didn't bother them directly, we were having too much fun goofing on the idea in /l chat.

EDIT - In the three times I've ever gone to Carpenter's Landing, I was completely alone in the entire zone twice.

Its really hard to vote for me since I have such a hard time sitting still and I wonder just about everywhere, I've had a reason to go just about all these spots... and more...all the time.

Dangruf Wadi is really nice for a long time to get easy & fast xp from mobs evenly spread out in most cases. Movopolis just has some fun funky music, and I've had to farm there a number of times. Ranguemont Pass is my favored place to get to the north lands, and I've gotten several frost reapers (I'm just MUST get that spelunking hat some day). I even love going to Tor Canal, since the Windurst Walls entrance is so close to my favorite shopping mall (I get 32-47xp off of bats & skeletons.. so its worth it to me.. and it rains coffer keys--one of these days I WILL find a coffer that drops Tuna).

Anyplace I can solo and not get yelled at for soloing is fun for me.
