The new OS of mircosoft

I think this is incorrect. NCIX right now is offering a free upgrade to Vista if you buy XP, and there's no mention of needing to pay in the future.
actually, you get the upgrade if you buy a qualifying pc that comes with xp pro, media edition and 2 other ones. qualifying computers with xp home on them will be required to pay for the upgrade. ill try to find the link that states that

Whoever posted that 'fix' was a friggin retard. Play the song, use a bit-level recorder to write all data on the outbound audio channel to an external wav. Done this with a few licensed songs and it has not failed yet.
err could not if any recrding programs we running when the song played it crashed

from a more reliable site...

i dont doubt that you could get vista with a NEW purchase of those versions of xp, however, the question stands to wether or not you get it with a version of xp that was purchased years ago. me personally, i have xp pro that i did purchase. but that was many years ago. from what ive seen, alot of places require you to provide proof of purchase along with the free upgrade voucher to get the disk sent to u. which means, you need to buy a new copy of windows to get it. i wish there were more clear cut articles that say something easy to tell people who is eiligible and how to get it. right now, i can only speculate that you need to buy a new pc and/or a brand new copy of xp that just came out within the last couple months

Two completely different offers from the looks of it. NCIX paired with MS for the one I linked to, different rules from the one you linked to. I wouldn't call NCIX 'unreliable', they're one of the biggest (and most kickass) parts dealers in Canada.

yes, but it only states that you get the upgrade when "you buy a qualifying version today" it doesnt say anything about us people that have had xp for a while

Well, sucks to be you! Shoulda pirated it for 5 years like the rest of us.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have some sort of upgrade option for current and past XP owners, they always have if I remember correctly. At least a discount on the new release... dunno what they did with XP and 2000 owners though.

actually there are several hacker groups throwin their hats in to a little friendly contest of "who can crack it first" when it comes out.
my group has a section of people set up for it and waiting to go. It will be cracked im sure.
and i would LOVE to see this .mp4 file you speak of, because whoever couldnt pull that off sounds a bit slow.

Im waiting for the last Beta version to come out pre-release to get hacked so you can still use it come June 1st or whatever the date is.

I believe the installation said it will stop working after that date, but maybe im retarded and missed it. Vista is pretty neat, despite some of its major bugs (Desktop Icons are invisible and not selectable)
