I'll be at the Dome Sunday to watch my Saints try and right the ship vs. your 9ers lol.

Oh for sure, it's going to be a great game. I want to see whether O'Sullivan lives up to the hype and maintain that QB rating of his. :D

Ever since we've acquired Brees and Bush, we've shredded 3-4 defenses. Hopefully the trend continues!

Shockey out 3-6 weeks.

This just keeps getting better..... WTF Saints are decimated.

yeah, i know your heartache..we have been QBless for years in buffalo lol :(

I can't even acknowledge football this year since my Rams are this years Dolphins. I'm truly sickened. Plus, their schedule is fucking savage! wtf?!?1 They were like 3-13 last season. I should get my standard 2 games against SF, 6 games at home vs Miami and the rest at home vs like the Texans or something.

Now Bulger is benched and Trent "Ouch my head" Green is starting....kill me. There's something generally wrong when a team goes from major playoff contender / Super Bowl winner with numerous Pro-Bowl players, to a fucking joke. Linehan needs to be shit-canned during the bye. He needed to be shitcanned when we suddenly went form decent to absolute shit the moment he took over.

Dick Vermeil built a badass team. Crazy offensive coordinator Martz takes over. Gets great players will still basic scheme of Vermeil. Over the period of three years, he completely puts in his new system, and team slowly starts to erode. Look at today and BAM.

<_< I don't get what you're trying to say. The Saints would be garb without Drew Brees, lol.

Hah just being sarcastic.

In all seriousness though, my team is the most injured team in the NFL right now. But yeah the Brady comment was sarcasm at it's finest!

MATT MILLEN IS FINALLY GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two straight games where we couldn't get 3rd and 1. Both we were in position to win the game.

I think Payton doesn't play Deuce because Deuce isn't one of "his guys".
i don't know what the problem is either dude. I could hear the sighs of relief all the way from Colorado when that field goal missed. They had the Saints down 21-3 at the star of the 2nd quarter, and we marched all the way back only to get screwed by our own kicker. and these injuries are getting on my nerves too.

i'll bet you this. of the remaining 3-0 teams in the AFC i bet Denver loses first. they barely won their last 2 games. only team they have dominated is the lolRaiders.

yes drew is an outstanding QB, but so was Archie Manning. and in his day the Saints played like the dolphins did last year. Brett hasn't been able top move the Jets to the dominating position yet either. we need our starters back that's what killing us. that and the lack of #26.

My point was that if Drew Brees were to get hurt right now, the team would win like 4 games all season. The team is an offensive team, not a defensive team. The difference would be colossal. Your comparisons don't fit because A. Manning didn't have the offensive weapons that Brees has, and B. Favre isn't a valid comparison because he hasn't learned the system yet, and he's not exactly the great QB he was in the 90s, last year was an aberration because he was surrounded by such a good team.

You're right and wrong. A good QB can still be bad with a bad team. Favre played bad for two straight years because his team was horrible. He played better when players finally stepped up.

Good example this year is Manning. His WR's have been letting him down, therefore his stats aren't very good. Same goes for Carson Palmer. Anyway that was beside the point.

I agree with Brady going down, you guys took the biggest loss of the season by far. The only point I was trying to make is, half our team are backups right now, and even a great QB can't overcome that. Brees passed for 81% against the Broncos for over 400 yds and we still lost, and we still had key mishaps on offense as well that could have turned the tide. Like we can't convert 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1.

The reason Favre is a hall-of-famer is that he takes an average offense and makes them good. Manning has not been let down by his recievers so much as he's been bothered by no playing time due to the knee injury. Palmer's biggest problem is his o-line sucks, which is the one thing that a QB has the most trouble controlling. That limits him to 3-step drops and short passes. Injuries suck, and that's a fact, but I'd rather have Moss miss 4-6 games(a la Colston), or have one of our RBs go down (lol, we have like 4 capable RBs, though) and lose a lineman or two(which we have), than lose my starting QB( assuming your QB is good, like Brees or Brady.) any day. A great QB can't make a bad team good, but he can make a bad offense better. More than any other player can, except maybe an Adrian Peterson-like, dominating running back. But if you have a one-dimensional offense, it'd be better for it to be 1D-passing than 1D-running, as it's harder to stop, IMO.

I hate football. I want my Brady back. ; ;
