The Starlight Celebration is nearly here! (12/14/2007)

so what happen? It is 12/18 yet no decorations or moogles.
 
Yeah I think they kind of screwed that up. Tuesday at 12am would have been this morning. They should have put Wed at 12a
 
Guess it was pst midnight. This event is alot like the val time event. Join party with person get a card trade to your partner. They will then tell you to find a person 37 + or -. Then they will ask for a certain race and gender. Finally they will ask for a job. Once you find the person with right lvl, race, gender, and job you will get dream boots. Then to get +1 you just invite new person and talk to moogle with dream boots on. (might need suit and hat to)
 
I spent 3 and a half hours trying to get Dream Boots+1. In order to get Dream boots you have to bring the Moogle the person they ask for. Then you need to be the person the moogle wants and get a Andromeda Card. Trade that to the Moogle and you get the +1. I spent 3 hours bringing people to the moogle and all I got were Costume belts and Stables teleport neck pieces.

Last time I did this was two months into playing. I'd just search around if any if the jobs were around, then ask them to come to Bastok.
I don't wanna do this again, but it's event gear~

cant be sure but im guessing yes due to the enhance sneak effect.
 
Minute and a half, not bad for level 1.

The thing I hate about this year's event is it can be a real pain in the ass to find specific level/job/race/gender combinations. I'm still stuck on my first attempt, I need a male taru dragoon that's over level 38; and those are apparently very rare.
 
Baja, I know someone who had to find a Galka Sch over lvl 38 lol.
 
Yeah, I know there's going to be a few more combinations that are rarer, but not many.
 
So, they still selling previous christmas gear? Some of my nooby friends want the hat and chest.

Yes you can, I got a dream robe +1 from one of the Magellan cards.
